The other thing I'm working on, (very) WiP: Front end superstructure is done, back end half there (you can see where I've got to, it's where the hull starts to get boring/detached ). Bottom pic has a medium-sized raiding SV docked on top for scale. The Mastodon, a true monster (for me, at least). Size class 9 already and only 75% of the superstructure is done, maybe 10% of the detailing and none of the signals, texture, colour or lighting. All the flight systems, drill turrets and fixed weapons are in, but none of the user equipment or turrets.
might take a few days off empyrion play another game i jut got stellaris and im hooked, ill come back to empyrion in a few days. on a side note im still got to finish my USS Discovery soon
Actually, this happened yesterday. I was guzzling a bottle of Akua sparkling wine (since I can't sit at a table and pour a glass) when a warning message appeared. I was hurriedly trying to read it (they don't last very long) only to be startled by a semi-malevolent, basso voice saying something about a "bad trip". I noticed no other effects other than hearing voices. Is that the "bad trip"? To the best of my recollection, that was the first human(?) voice I've heard in this game. I would like to here more (not necessarily that one) to supplement those warning signs that don't last very long, and/or make it so you have to acknowledge receipt of the message by clicking on it.
I can see that, Tac. It won't end up like that way though, I have a bunch of structure and superstructure to add to the back-end which'll bulk it out some, then I'm going to greeble the crap out of it. Should end up far more... industrial than the Algos. Similar combat role though; spit out baby attack fighters to do the heavy lifting. The back half of those front side-pods will be hangar space and launch tubes for small fighter SVs, and some of the missing stuff in the back will be an HV tank garage.

I suppose that's the nice thing about basing my brand on a massive conglomerate. The real company makes a massive variety of products, from fighter planes to submarines to power generators to IT security systems to tanks to luxury private jets, so pretty much anything I make with my version of the brand can fit right in. The only exceptions would be anything designed to look alien and things that are direct recreations of designs from other games or media.
Now THAT'S the kinda thing we need so it can be in the game then the Devs could really sell the game making Trailer Vids of this kinda action in action! *Imagines me in Tyrax Hover War Tank droppin out of moving CV, blowing the hell outta foes that have Allies on foot pinned down & saving the day, then Ramp Jumping off a Mountainside, doing a Aileron Roll in mid-air right into the open HV Hanger of same CV then flying away looking like a Heroic Badass...* ... I completely forgot to think about if Multiturrets also repaired like the Hand Version did... >_< *Makes mental note to think of making Mini-Repair Bot CV in future* Sounds like Science gone horribly wrong. In the absence of a way to save the victims, Mercy Kill mighta been the only real viable alternative. & I totally sympathize with trying to keep it hush hush... I too seriously doubt the other Civilians woulda ever understood, them being Civilians & all. I think i've noticed Boss Funinator streaming Stellaris sometimes, so I think he's a fan of it too. I have long wished that you could mount hover engines on both SV's and CV's. Fly the ship down, switch to low-power hover mode, switch back when ready to leave the planet. Maxim 37... ... or 46. "Don’t try to save money by conserving ammunition."
Normally I would just ignore these, but after chuckling then seeing this I had to note that I think you mean "saucer". I hadn't even noticed the error in my first reading of your post. I guess the meager auto-correct in my brain put saucer back in there and it wasn't until someone else pointed it out that I realized how humorous your post was actually. Of course, I sometime blame my personal auto-correct for some my own errors. Sometimes it isn't until a couple hours go by that I find some of my own mistakes because my brain keeps putting the missing or correct words in there. Need to head off to work, so here's what I did this morning in Empyrion. Quite a bit more than last night. But then I was tired by the time I did anything last night. Sleepy isn't always the best for productivity, on games or at work.
