Had a lot of people over at KSH forum talking garbage about Empyrion having no physic's at all. So I recorded this for them but they locked the thread so never mind I will post it here and they can come here and explore the game more.
So first, what the heck is KSH? Second, very nice, obviously it would be nice if there was dust fly up on the collision and potentially "breakage" of one or either of the rocks, but that would be icing. I would like to see the suspended objects fixed (i.e a piece of your ship is no longer attached to the frame due to damage but it still hovers there) but so far what these guys have done is amazing, I love the game... I wish they would post some sort of road map that could/would allow the community to help. As awesome as the game is now, it's obvious that it has MASSIVE potential and I for one would like to help them get there.
I was on the steam forum for SE last might and someone mentioned Emperion and was immediately warned that talking about Emperyion would get the thread locked or deleted.... Now about the physics, I think most of us prefer fun game play for this title as opposed to an over the top physics engine. It is nice to have all the bells and whistles, but if it isn't fun then people won't play it. Thank you for all the testing Piddlefoot, you are appreciated.
So I try pushing an asteroid with my jetpack, couldn't do it The next thing I am going to do is to create an asteroid moving SV, (just lasso an asteroid with hull blocks and try to fly to move it) I want to try and use an asteroid to hide my approach to the alien base, should be fun
Wish I would have read this before I went about built a ship inside a hole in an asteroid.... I was going to use asteroid skin as armor... well it didn't work, started glitching out of the asteroid, but obviously never got it to move
