I think it has potential ! Considering the arch part is a piece of the front, that overlapping backpart would make an awesome thruster cluster.
Thats.... thats not bad. In fact, I really like the flatter angular style... and the color contrast is fascinating. Nicely done.
Thank you for your honesty! You kinda nailed it -> I think I went a bit too far with the Copy + paste. The original design was supposed to be a CV that can land on planets... and this one, well, if you do not mind the tilt... @Bigfeet and @binhthuy71 thank you for the encouragement kind sirs! Buuuuuut I think I must return to the drawing board.
i plan to do these with my own twists today, the bottom one was the tank idea the other two are next going to be APCs
Theeerrrreeee ya go. Very cool. Maybe kill the orange wing? I love the contrasting greys and the square protrusions out the back. That is just visually interesting.
Hey, Naysayers! Ya see that cool little bit in the N Menu where it can Save entire chunks of BP to Paste in at will? That cool doodad the DEVS THEMSELVES built in on purpose? What the hell diff could there REALLY be between Pasting in from another Program where that other Program, the work also had to be done to build it, vs Pasting In from the N Menu in this game? Can you say "Tomaeto Tomawto"? Looks like Dev Approval for these kinda Strategies to be used to me. Looks like a Mobile Hover Base to me... which is a different kinda cool but still cool. For the Topic: My latest going ons was last night I was gonna check out Ion Maiden for the first time, but got a Invite from @michaelhartman89 & @The Tactician[ Λ ] to join them for a bit of MP Fun, & I joined in to show off my Tyrax 3D Deathmaw a bit more personally & check out some of their work. Had so much fun it ended up taking the whole evening & Ion Maiden ended up having to wait for another day. Tac really does have cool ideas for Ship Building... he just happens to sit at the same point we all once did while being new to Block Building... that darn point where we're hard pressed trying to correctly visualize which Block Shape to place where & in what Orientation to do what is desired. It's a steep part of the learning curve. After getting through it & spending a long time on the other side in 'The Land of Familiar' with how to go about stuff like that, it's awful easy to forget what it was like to be a Novice & still be at the bottom of the 'High Hill of Steep Learning Curve'. He needs help climbing that Hill bit by bit, not asshole behavior punishing him for being capable of being at a Novice State instead of a Expert State of Building Skill.
also to prove a point that your 100% not lieing or just sticking up for me here is proof the devs agree with 3d model imports but for community sake and my status ill be quieting it i dont agree with it being a cheat or lazy, sure maybe my finished projects need a lot of work the ones using the 3d models but since no one likes them since there 3d imports ill only finish them apon a request, im moving on to a new dawn so to speak, making my own manufacturing line (i.e. making a theme)
Can I request, after ya get more hang of the Corner & Angle Blocks, that ya spiff up the U.S.S. Discovery with'em?
so i want to promote a ship that just hit the workshop its a star wars legends ship, my favorite matter the fact witch is why im linking it here http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1318314717&searchtext= as always Commander Ray's ships keep my jaw dropped.
yep! he tried to resemble the ship shown in the pic. perhaps as an alternative @The Tactician[ Λ ] you could try these thin wall blocks to give it even more shape and a colorful contrast?
oh, good idea, ya im still learning my AEGIS group will be starting up POI bashing mega tanks and 1 mobile base tank im working on now base tank is based after this and will continue it next week, tho it will be slow cuz how huge it is, its a mobile base after all not a poi basher
