Another way to eliminate possible building is to just set the 'Target:' line to nothing that way the items don't even show up in constructor. Cool, I also made a small base! I like the towers. I have a design document for the scenario I am making, if you want to check that out. I'll send you the link in forum PM.
Cool, sounds good. I look forward to checking it out! I thought that maybe if you didn't want any poi, you could just remove the drop table as an issue by eliminating the POI loot or the pois all together. You could make custom poi that have no loot, only services/functions. That's what I plan on doing. It's the only way at the moment.
It is a link to my scenario folder. You know where to put it)) Try to start new game in Dogma scenario https://yadi.sk/d/Twnl-PLr3TyR9e
There are a couple of ways to make it so that you cant craft a constructor, but they will still drop in loot like you said. If you change some other stat on the constructor, to make it unusable, like making it craft really slow, that would affect the constructor you have spawned into your village also, so that's not really a great option. A couple of people hit the nail on the head about just making it not feasible to use though. The main way i thought of to do that, is change the power consumption to something ridiculously high. Most players wouldn't build 30+ t2 generators if they could just use the constructor in town.. and think of the fuel costs, lol. Since your constructor will be at a POI, you can just add an inaccessible massive basement filled with generators.
hi! thank you very much for your advice. This is a great idea and I need to think about it )). Now I can only say that I'll need to use the constructor on one capital vessel that will belong to admin. It will be used in military campaigns, and the best players will be invited. It will be an incentive for them to follow the rules. Now, it seems to me, the easiest way is to make all the transport and buildings by admin fraction, and then open access with passwords/keys. Then players will not be able to install constructor themself. For example, if the player bought the HV he is given the key, it's also a good element of rp game))) Also I want to enter the police's job to enforce the rules. Imprisonment will be used as a punishment. A jail will reside on the moon, the prisoners will be there to collect pentaxid )))
I slightly changed my previous strategy and decided that it would be more correct to start the game not in the center for cloning people (as a new clone), but in the spaceport (as a newly arrived citizen). To do this, you need to build a spaceport with two gates (A and B). In tunnel B, the player will spawns, and tunnel A can be used to board ships. Both tunnels goes to the checkpoint, which is always secured by a police officer, he checks the newly emerging players. In beginning the player has no any loot, so he has to work or just run around the planet and eat plants. Therefore, the player will not be able to earn multiple respawns. Respawn may make sense only if the player wants to escape from persecution by the police. Player can respawns only in the spaceport (by quick restart) or near the place of death. All vehicles and buildings must have admin core and can only be accessed by clans or by password (key) (this is necessary to prevent players from putting their constructor on board). To survive, players must work and earn credits for it. They can pay by credits for : food (in the store on the farm), for buying personal transport (in the constructor's bureau), for obtaining a driver's license (in the police), for obtaining a certificate of the shooter (in a military base), for the purchase of a personal home (from the mayor), etc.
