Somehow I know how it is because I have a friend he recently had health problems and almost....Well let's say he evaded the worst and he had 3 stents surgery and he is at home now for a good whole month, but he wont play any games for most of this time. Needs to strengthen his heart a lil more.
Put together a Greenhouse for the Robinson Protocol Start. Plant 6 spice, 6 vegetables (4 count yield), 3 fruit go get water and Hot Beverages and turn out 6! Survival rations per cycle. The caveat is you have to salvage the plots from the titan. (15 of em so you should be good there.) Alsowik, it is all wired because boredom. Like the rest of the collection it is small disposable structures that should be spawn-able as Soon as the player meets the level criteria (in this case being able to make a multi-tool). Greenhouse, Mk. I I suggest a Fence to keep out the creepers... maybe some snowmen.
I finished scrapping the three sections of the Titan, as well as two vehicle ports. Depleted a few mines, then spawned the CV and took her out for a midnight flight.
Logged into the experimental branch for a bit to check out some stuff. The Captain's chair is baller as are the new thruster models. Also, I think I'm going to need a new video card.
Framerate drops during dawn and dusk are known issues with the new build, I believe they are working on it.
Er-hem, I made yet another thing. (I like making things it seems, who would've figured?) I present to you: The T4-Import It's a small cargo/mining cv. The idea is that you build it as your first CV, and when you upgrade to a bigger vessel you can slap a mining turret onto it and use it for that purpose. Spoiler: More pictures
Out and about in my newly built SV - my first designed and owned in Alpha 8 SP so far - I stumbled upon something very beautiful and wondrous on this lonely and vastly empty planet. I um... almost felt bad de-coring such a lovely thing. But truly, I need hardened blocks on that SV real bad... because a Drone base lurks in them thar hills not far away. Currently the SV's merely a glass tiger defensively, and with little in the way of fangs. God damned cobalt... I yearn for rockets. Whoever designed that structure is a very talented and amazing artist, and I'm very impressed! Bravo to you.
I had to leave it... too pretty... besides I always worry it would be someone's religious monument, with my luck several someones... Besides... grunt not airdale... assaulting dronebase in golfcart full of C-4/
I hope that's all it is and not the larger playfields taxing my old card. Posted some stuff today that I've been working on. Little things. Made a version of my bike with a sidecar and then did a Road Warrior version with a bunch of guns. I made one with drills but it wasn't working very well. That was before I added the bigger thrusters though. Spoiler And then I thought well if five guns are good then seven guns are better.
@Siege Inc. I spawned all the cycles in the workshop earlier . . . and all yours fell over. LOL They look fantastic though and they drive well.
Built a Shack to welcome the spiders once they make a comeback. Gun Shack, Mk. I Only good for things that don't shoot back much if at all.
Modified, one more time, the Karana Water Depot ST . This time as Factory Construction Port, with Advanced Constructors and Furnaces.
Could it be that the station is too close to the planet, causing the error? Perhaps inside the trigger area that loads up the planetary playfield? I took A8 for a test run as well over the weekend and one thing I noticed is that orbital playfields have not been "spread out" more to accommodate the larger planets, the position of the planets and moons appear to be the same as it was in A7. This means that planets and moons are too close to each other, stations are too close to planets and in some cases asteroids are actually inside a planet's atmosphere. This is on the preset Akua/Omicron scenario though.
Companion Med Bay/Medical greenhouse for Robinson Protocol Farm Med Station, Mk. I Still pretty cheap to be honest. Lvl 3 spawn. 1000 wood blocks sounds like a lot till you realize that is like 25 logs.... Been stacking Lincoln Logs All Damn Day. Gonna go collapse now.
