Multiple Solar Systems

    Using the new generator is nice but is there a way to add more planets than it generates also can i have multiple solar systems with there own sun now and if so how so

    Yes to the first question, no (not yet) to the second.

    You will find the config file for the random generator in your empyrion/content/randompresets folder. I strongly suggest editing them using Notepad++. The random generator is pretty powerful and you can do some cool setups with it but it does have some limits at the moment (can't set planets to have multiple moons, etc).

    You could do what I did on my last server. I took a lava planet, raised the sea level above the mountains and raised the temp/gravity to kill anyone who goes into orbit, to act as a star.

    Then I just spaced out different 'stars' with their own clusters of planet playfields around, then used some 'wormhole' type routes to traverse between the suns to each system. It's alot of work, but an option until we get actual new solar systems.
