I'm so glad you understand. I don't mean to exclude anyone at all, and I'm hoping I'll continue developing as a server admin so that I would feel really confident about managing a small server with 20 players, at some point. I really like working in the yaml files and managing the server, and I'm learning more all the time. It's also really nice to play with others who know the game and also like to post here in the forums, because it's such a great place to meet other players.
Great job on the small CV. I particularly like the way you use the interior space. And, kudos for your uncluttered treatment of the aft end.
I'd say depends how much room you have. I like wings, i think they make svs look better, but you've basically doubled your footprint as far as size goes.
Well if you've got room then by all means, add wings. Like i said, i think they make svs look better. But the hp thing is sorta irrelevant, only the wings get that extra hp and it's only relevant if they're taking damage - if the wings aren't there, then they can't take damage.
Very nice. I've seen a lot of Eagle builds, your exterior looks the most accurate and proportioned to date. Looking forward to the pod. I'll be subscribing. It's a shame SV can't carry HV- then you could make the module an HV Only thing I'm iffy on is the engines. Too jet-planey, which is why I never finished a build where I did that. Hopefully, they'll update the SV engines like the CV ones. Do you have actual landing gear hidden in the ones you built?
Agreed on all counts. Regretfully, there's no "round block with flared thruster" option. This is the best compromise, you can see my compromise on the previous version. Thank you for the compliment! I'm working off of studio images and blueprints, because I'm just that ocd. There are, in fact, landing gear hidden inside. I have a slew of new block requests to make. Round beams. 1x2 truss blocks. Landing gear whose central support is off-set, so you can build around it. Etc, etc. Time for steak.
Looks nice, if you want to get it back into the two small generator range I would recommend replacing any medium thrusters with small ones. I would also recommend cutting the bottom thrusters in half. It is an interesting design and I look forward to seeing it in the workshop.
I know I posted these before, but I altered the ship. I downgraded the thrusters (from M to S) so that I can finally get it at Level 7 instead of Level 10. Who knew three levels could be that much a difference?!
