ya i sadly getting attacked too, like sooooo many downvotes my norm atm is 10+ for every new build, atm my 10ish latest builds have all negative ratings so i form here on out refuse to post to the workshop anymore, if i shre a build here ill link the file and you can have it
Holy hell, thats... words fail but that is truly sad. I lucked upon this thread a long time ago and was honestly awe struck by what I saw. And still am day after day. I quite literally have -never- seen a ship here that I would even think of casting a down vote on. It's a huge struggle for me to add Form to function; seeing soo many examples of those both balanced & complimentary is inspiring. While I gave up trying to use the Workshop almost immediately due to lack of search options, I'm really sorry that it's such a toxic place.
ik a few who are doing it, but naming names would start drama and break forum rules, all ill say it, vet builders are also doing it sadly, its a stupid popularity contest for most popular front page :/ so im not giving up building, like ever, so instead ill just link the files, anyone can have full rights to the build, it will have my name on the "statistics" anyway if some one puts it up on the workshop with out me saying yes ill DMCA it. ps AEGIS, my brand is getting a lore story added soon, and my character, persona: the Tactician, will be getting a new bio too tomorrow. see, i dont just build, but im making a lore, why im building these ships, bases, etc that fits with empyrions lore, well what we know atm
On the whole downvote situation I'm gonna keep posting to the workshop. I make stuff to keep myself amused. (probably for the best looking at my stats! XD ) If someone on there likes it as well all the better.
That's the thing, and why it disappoints me so. I think back to a year ago and the Workshop just wasn't like this at all. I think if there was such a toxic Workshop experience when I first started, I don't think I would've shared much at all. My very first creation had so many issues with it, but it was received well enough that I kept at it. I already feel better about the situation, but it was a huge shock at first. Even though I was expecting it, I was very surprised at how quickly it happened. How many new creators is this community missing out on? How many great designs from experienced and new designers alike are we not seeing because of this?
ah ok .. now i understand what you mean. .. indeed the generators are outside of the ship and spin up the costs of it too. my aspect was these - this ship you can make larger how you want in creative mode. before you must create semilar space for enough generators, you got 12 large t1 generators on a place outside and some basic generators inside. but yes i understand your thinking and it is a very good feedback - the next prototype of this ship got a littlebit more space in the core ship incl a semilar warp and engine room. the thrusters are cleared integraded into the hull by next update. pps. because the bases - thanks! but without the guys who updated every building for the newer alpha versions ,this bases where so lumpy dumpy over the time, i knowing. .. so pls thanks these guys who update them regulary because my mistake for the missing time to update myself. btw... the community builds very nice bases and stations for any race! i saw prototypes of bases wich was integraded into the game and must say - the time, how much these guys needed are extremly and always massive lifetime in reallife. so iam very happy about every blueprint what i see from the community in the workshop or forum. its not only my work - its the work of the community and any ECCB (Empyrion Creative Common Builder)

Well today I ran across PFM's in game for maybe the first time......POO flinging monkeys----these are the guys who downvote someones build on the workshop. I ran into the abandoned mine and worked my way down and cored it and two guys come and start taking loot out. While I am stilll shooting and trying to finish the bottom room. So I just left the server. I made one comment after one told his buddy to loot the room I was in and then left. And I got 4 disease affects at one time twice......yeah gonna read for a while and try later.....lol
Yesterday in game I discovered a massive Bug of Horrible Proportions! I need to report this. I was on an ice moon, Drone mining from the comfort of my basic compartment SV. Suddenly I got a 'cold' message, and saw that my temperature was -68C. That is not possible, of course. I had even used the drone to close the door. It seemed like my person was experiencing the temperature the drone was in. F5 back to my ship, and I'm still cold. Hypothermia starts. Panic beings. So I jump in the seat and start flying for a nearby ADM Trade center. I'm freezing! Before I can make it to the safety of the installation *splat* I'm dead. Suitcase rolling away and ship tumbling. So I go round up everything then make it to the base. My ship looks fine. Hmmm. O2 shows that I'm not airtight, how curious. I go back outside and try removing the ventilator. I soon realize that a window is gone. After replacing it all is well. And sure enough when I get back to the mining site I found a massive Bug of Horrible Proportions! I gunned it down and went back to mining.

To whom it may concern: To my great dissatisfaction, I have been made aware that you have not placed a negative rating on my design: DSV - Nightbreaker M1 and she is still enjoying absolute freedom from negative ratings. Surely you wouldn't want it to stay this way. Just do it boy.
im unbiased with builds, for the most part i thumbs up every build i like in the workshop i see, and move on, i dont thumbs down unless the build is 100% broken, and i comment but as i say this i havent done it yet, do to me being so unbiased
If its not on any of the trending pages it's probably safe at this point but I do like the sentiment! XD None of my older stuff has a downvote at the mo (knock on wood!)
@The Tactician[ Λ ] As much as i love your entusiasm in that case, thats like Don Quichotte fighting the windmills! The internet is what it is, a place for everyone and therefor it is fruitless to even try to change it. You will face nice guys & gals and the opposite, too. For me the point is to not let them take over my thoughts! The thing i like is to build what i want, how i want after a long workday and a few other things i better don't write here for the one or the other reason . So, good morning, good day, good evening and good night for today. PS. there is much to be changed and build on my dropship, tomorrow...
Oh, you know, just building an Armada. Here's the smallest element, a Squadron, which consists of 2 Corvettes and an Escort Carrier. The carrier supports a Wing of 6 Tornado aerospace superiority fighters. The Naval Construction Contract for light vessels was awarded to KSW GmbH, and are built from a standardized central core for speed of construction and ease of repair.
Indeed. My thinking, though was for those "customers" who might d/l it from the Workshop, but get frustrated and not use it because they lack the skill to do really good edits
