I decided to start over on my starter CV carrier, and I think I got it now. The name isn't set in stone yet, so any suggestions are welcome, but the shape I have going here works really well.

Sooo been busy latley… Vertigo Prime 8.0.6 is 'ready' (WIP) to be played for my steam Friends. As of now it introduces 2 regular tempereate starter planets, as well as 4 'themed starter planets'. By themed i'm talking about fellow community members - the brands. Spoiler: preview Further I also did a little update for my ERA-C Ollecter. Several re-textures, more passenger seats, more thrusters (now can even fly on 2g planets). Spoiler: preview

I have been working on a base for a week and you walk in and there is no WAY I am gonna roll my one man batcave out to compete against that.
Awesome stuff. I'm a big fan of long foreboding sci-fi passageways and corridors. They contribute a lot to a sense of atmosphere IMO. Here are a couple quick shots of a central access corridor on one of my CVs: The senior XO does NOT approve of bikes in the corridor but I couldn't resist

All those magnificent ships ^ and here I am building an HV camper. I want to see how building the HV first and a BA later affects the rest of the game in 8. I usually build in-game thus the wreckage as a workstand. In the interest of being cheap I'm building the HV parts in a portable constrictor, er, constructor. I may die of starvation before the parts are produced.
ya just did @Sephrajin playfield for a test run on normal settings idk if ill be playing serverside on more then 1 server now its way to hard and grindy for my casual tastes now like legit would take me 2 weeks to get of starter world without server perks like cb:starter and cb:startership
Ok, didn't get much done today. Had some unexpected stuff going on so am up a bit later trying to work on a few items. One of those is a bit of an update on Atlas-X! I have been struggling trying to get a Class 1 in size. So far I have it at Class 1 and build time is around 1 hour and 30 mins. This is all without most of the devices. I am only including a large constructor and a O2 station. This is subject to change of course but in the mean time I have "numbered" all the device locations to upgrade too once you are ready. Also have a new idea for the thruster pods so I think I am liking these better than the previous versions. But I still am debating extending the rear thruster pods out by one block to give some more detailing in those areas, but still unsure. As of now the interior is completely done, other than fixing my logic's as I broke a few of them changing stuff around! Also the exterior is really close too just a few minor tweaks and I should be good to go on releasing this. Anyways here is more recent screenies~ I hope you enjoy!
That's ... it's... damnit that's really slick! And the intersection is almost large enough to hold my 'big' CV I'm betting the Briefing Room could hold every ship I've ever built, ha! ---- Wow @Jenniphurr , that's an amazing amount of detail work, and boy does it really bring the ship to life! Be careful with that color scheme; you might get CAT (the company) looking to have you design their next, 'The Future of Caterpillar' expo
Good point. Jenniphur has shared just enough WIP shots so that we can see the changes. I freely admit that I haven't the patience to texture a vessel, even a small SV, as carefully as Jenniphur does.
that is one cool looking passageway ) heh keep it as a secret but i needed to retrieve cctv footage from ship to destroy that evidence
Kind of surprising it's ending up that expensive, since it looks like something really cheap and used. I feel like it'd make a great starter CV anyways.
