Ladies and gentlemen, I want to say a few words First of all, I apologize to you because the new X-1500 will be less than a limitation game The interior will be noticeably smaller than the previous X 1400... I'm sad with it because I can not make it bigger than I wanted ... Good news: The X-1500 will noticeably better maneuver in all directions. The engines were redesigned (Engine work is not over yet) I work on it whenever I have time . The X-1500 has mastered the preliminary flight tests
is this a little cunning? But it is convenient! ! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1424121852
Found big scores of Redium and Greenium and mined the hades out of then. Then I started working a major project. Screenshots will follow.
And more. this is totally my original design HV. self‐confident work... Rather than, I feel to I was complete for first time the original design. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198063806081/myworkshopfiles/?appid=383120 Regarding decoration, I imitated Mr.Trig's method of HM-22 HoverMower. I love the work of Mr. Trig and I learned many things such as arrangement of drills from there. The finish of my work is never better than his work, it is quite inferior... but still I am satisfied. yes, this is my work.
That looks pretty cool. The arrangement of the stuff on the back is neat. I usually go for a little more thrust and RCS in a HV miner ( near 10 deg/sec yaw and 15-20 m/s forward are the numbers I try to aim for), but as long as you're satisfied with it's performance that's really all that matters. As far as looks and decoration, I don't really consider myself all that great at it, but I have found that a good variety of textures, and a few light-up textures here and there (especially on edges of thin blocks) can make things stand out. And generally keeping to a two-tone color scheme. I've been getting back into empyrion after taking a break for a while, have built a rapid harvester, and a space bore over the past few days, and putting more work into a sizable CV I started some time ago. The harvester started as an experiment to see how many harvesters stacked on top of each other it would take to chop down trees without losing forward speed while cruising around in a HV. About 8 of them seemed to work best, but that ended up being too tall to be practical, so ended making this one with 6. It usually harvests fast enough to not stop moving forward when going about 20 m/s. Also has a pretty neat glow effect on the harvester teeth. F17-Forester: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1422839276 (see workshop for more pics) And the space miner is just a rebuild of Wild Bore hv miner into a CV. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1423941309 And a few pics of the CV that's been taking entirely too much time, mostly because I can't decide on a color scheme and textures, it seems like every time I set down to work on it I get sidetracked and end up messing around with a HV, or browsing forums or anything except getting more work done on it. Also have no idea what to name it. Spoiler: pics of WIP cv unrelated bonus picture of something I built while I meant to be working on above CV:
The moment one figures that one's own starter ship is larger than a civhub Busy at the MAUL: Spoiler One of the bridges One of the engine rooms First sector - still WIP Quarters, probably officer ons. Quarters - balcony 'Town hall' & Garden
I picked up a BP of a CV(mid part) that crashed on the moon, restaured it and transformed it into a BA. The Ships Base. (I did that just for fun)
Continuing our break from traveling about, although missing the black more and more... Instead of sights like that, though, we have decided to kick the Zirax completely off Pehjora. The other races have been very supportive, the manager of the local mining hub was particularly grateful
Having ran off a bunch of explosive packs by mistake I decided to use them constructively. The temple was my first choice. I ran my HV as close as prudent then tunneled under the POI. When I came up under it I found that there was room enough to walk around so I did this:
I was going to work on updating HV again, but I got distracted. I did a walk through of a couple of my CV to check for radiation and heat issues. Spoiler: Pics The Mallard (not pictured) is a work in progress but everything outside the engineering is good as long as you comply with the default gravity orientation. The Goose (not pictured), another work in progress only had a couple fuel tanks of concern, but even removing those two it still had 23 fuel tanks remaining. The Pelican (as seen on the workshop) has some broken signal work, but other than a phantom radiation source that CV was also in good shape for heat and radiation. 0.4 but not close enough to a fuel tank to definitively explain it. The mirror location on the other side of the Pelican didn't have that hot spot and when you moved closer to the nearest fuel tank the radiation would actually vanish. The Turkey (pictured below) has some heat issues on the roof top pad near the thrusters, so I put some fences there--not updated on the workshop yet. And what was a mild source from the gravity generator seems to be a far greater hazard than it once was. Turns out that there was an "extra" layer of blocks behind the gravity generator so I took those out and recessed the generator accordingly. Now the pathway to the cockpit is safe again. If it wasn't so late I would have updated the workshop. Where most of my time disappeared to was another work in progress. Up to this point, the Limpkin had no thrusters whatsoever. It was just a frame intended to someday be a capital vessel, to become a large freighter of sorts. Here it is from another angle.
If I ever get to a point where I need to hire level designers and modelers this is the thread to post "help wanted!" Oztotl! You people are insane with the legos you build up in here! Seriously, too many examples to name, and all incredible work! Me: what did I do in Empyrion "today?" Well . . . I got shot by Zirax THROUGH concrete/combat steel/door blocks and posted a "bug report" about it and now I'm just sort of semi-fuming that basically the game (which I WANT to play) is basically unplayable . . .
This looking like a full on yacht, great work, will it be able to ride in the water without sinking ? Would love to see this on my lake server xD
Yup, it has two sets of hover engines for that purpose... With the lower set turned off, and the upper set on max height it sinks just half a block... https://empyriononline.com/threads/what-did-you-do-in-empyrion-today.2826/page-672#post-254211 https://empyriononline.com/threads/what-did-you-do-in-empyrion-today.2826/page-672#post-254214 If You move the upper set down by one block, it can even become a hydrofoil boat...
i think they are giving up, i mean they should anyway thumbs down dont effect me anymore lol on that note Dead8eye made me a ship, and with his full permission i posted it to my workshop and yes he gets full credit. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1425216241
