Having a problem with this mission. Got to the "Whispering" Find answers part but can't seem to progress. I have cleared everything on the derelict, Captains quarters, etc. even gone outside and cruised all over. Can't seem to find the answer they want.
The last sequence with the three Ancient standing around? This is basically the "end" of the mission (Sry, not a big gunfight or revealing finale, but it is important for future chapters to have met those creatures
Didn't get that. Was there a room I missed? Update: Never mind. Went back for a 3rd time and found a path I had missed. That was a fun mission. Kudos to the devs.
this was good. I had a bit of a problem, however, the go inside failed to trip the first time I went past that "LCD". So I went all the way to the 3 aliens without getting the subsequent messages. I shot the 3 aliens. Something seemed wrong, starter to read this thread found you were not supposed to shoot the 3 aliens. I went back to a save from just before I shot them, took the teleporter back to the landing bay and walked through again. This time all mission parts tripped as they should and it made sense. IT could use a bit more dramatic way for the aliens to give you the message.
I really liked the mission, great job overall... there's two things that bother me. The first, whenever you first teleport to the ship from the control station, it suggests going back to your SV to grab it incase of an emergency. So you go back, but there was no waypoint on the map back to the derelict ship. Obviously, you can make your own and then go back, but it'd be nice to have a mission WP pop up. The second is the ending. The entire mission was very suspenseful and really dragged me into it, and then the ending is *so* anti-climatic and lackluster it was really disappointing. Other than those things, I loved it.
Question on the ending without spoiling everyone else: although there is a reason for this anticlimatic ending , what would you have expected? (Maybe use the [ spoiler ] brackets for your response
I just completed the Chapter 2, it is showing as completed ( got to the 3 'whispering' aliens & used the transporter to return to my ship) but where do I get the reward? The rifle that was listed as a reward would be VERY useful!
