After an online test fight vs 2 POIs without repairing anything, my cockpit exploded after the first was done and the 2nd on the half way, soon after I've landed with the parachuit, I'd seen the warpdrive explode as well, just before they hit the core. After I took revenge and placed a core & cockpit, I was surprised as she flew just like before. Back at the shipyard, after reviewing her damages, I decided that she needed a little make up. Spoiler: pics I'm quite happy with the result, yet I wish i could make those 'transitions between plates' smoother. And I wish that it would fit more to the jet engines at the same time.
You ever look at a ship and think maybe the front end should be the back end? I was thinking of reversing this ship's facing and hoping to use a little cut/paste magic to make it happen but it was not being cooperative. I don't feel like recreating the whole thing from scratch just to change which end is the front. There needs to be a simpler way to change that.
What you want is to apply @Myrmidon 's fix for reversed angled ships. Select all of the vessel, cut, paste, rotate, paste, done. (simplified) hth
The city grows, first shops try to set their feet on the Station. Of course they also want an apartment (brown floor) right 'next' to it, so we've installed elevators from the shops (pastel-yellow) to the shop owners apartment. On top are the parents, children bedroom and wet rooms.
It's currently bugged. Cutting the whole blueprint causes an error(and makes cut act like delete when you do the whole thing).
Sephrajin is right. Best way: remove the core (copy-paste the core sometimes make trouble) place it somewhere outside away of the hull cutting the hole hull (without rhe core) rotate paste remove core and place it back to it's original position
You don't need to use the cut function. You can simply copy, rotate, and paste. It will over-write anything in the way and you can just cut off any extra bits that are left over. You can also copy and paste it to a brand new starter block if the above does not work.
@Siege Inc. thats a badass looking silhouette for an fighter/CV, especially if you follow your plan to reverse it!! ------------------ the Banshee heavy fighter is ready for shipment! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1542361709 Armor: hardenend steel (mostly 2 layers) Stats can be viewed in the documentation (screenshot!) It features an expanded payload of weapons, an underside cockpit for extra protection and is only short of an Warpdrive as it is build for carrier based action. With a bunkbed and 2 fridges to ensure the wellness of the pilot it can be used for prelonged missions. Even a constructor and a few cargoboxes will be delivered to ensure field repairs. Inside the machine section is room for individual adjustment of the flightcharacteristica. Have fun and a nice and good friday!!
When I haven't been moving desks and computers after a long day of work, I have gone back and worked some more on the Thunder Naiad. Still have to put the weapons back on, but this gets me a step closer to giving it an outer shell of combat steel. And I found a better spot for the detector. Still haven't put a cloning chamber inside.... As for today, I decided to test some of my BP in @Sephrajin's Creative Studio scenario. Well, first I hit the BP with a standard creative game where I tested them in 1.1 kg/m^3 atmospheric density. Then I went to the Creative Studio scenario to test in 1.5 kg/m^3 and 2.0 kg/m^3. Learned a few things about some of my BP along the way.
It's time once again for me to build a few things that don't look like piles of loose parts. This is a first pass at Omaha, a small CV. It's a cargo truck with some sentry guns to keep away the varmints. Now to texture it and work on the details.
Yes, it's a starter - Class 1. I'm working on a color scheme and deciding which parts of the whole thing I want to keep. As small as it is, it is still larger than my usual flying-test stand CVs.
Thx! I am currently looking for the earliest possible way to leave my Arid Planet (Started in Exp. all over again a few hours ago) to head for the Swamp Planet in my Solar System. I just need a "transport"-CV with no Constructors, the cheaper the better
No constructor. Otherwise, everything works. Here's the BP. Ya'll are welcome to use it and hopefully improve it.
