It's always a good idea to take small breaks here and there when working creatively on projects, etc. so you don't end up burning your creative juices out, and that's usually when I take the time to see what's going on in the forums. During these little mini-breaks I've run into a couple of really creative members here on the forums, and it got me thinking. So who else out there is creative, what means do you use for your creations and feel free share things you've made.
I make often 3D modeling a shobby, and have a Sci Fi Roleplay Project in Inworlz http://xentorantarix.deviantart.com/gallery/ But at the moment I work mostly at the thingi you see in the 2. Link, than in plain rendering programms.
Oh the stories i could tell... For those who dont know, i am a 3D modeler by hobby, i usually prefer to copy someones elses work to learn from it so not all of this is orignal, but i hope you enjoy it all:
I would say "you call that creative" but i have nothing to show you what i call creative in SE, so i won't say that. Maybe i can dig some files out of my destroyed harddrive to show. Does everything have to do with 3D Space building game or 3D rendering in general?
Well...... looks like the files on my old harddrive where SE was is toast. I'll post some when i have finished my "planet landing craft" done.
Uh broken, what kind of code? What does it do? Why did you make it and how did it help you improve yourself as a coder? (I should of done that for my post) Xentor, what's it about? If it was creative in any form it can be posted here.
Mostly, its a little bit of php/css/js that acts a simplified CMS for a website, I wanted something minimal and all the prerolled stuff did way more than I wanted, I just wanted something that would minimize client-server exchanges while enabling a website with modern features that didn't need anything other than a text editor to build.
@Xentor Wer sagt das hier keiner deutsch spricht? Du und ich sind sicher nicht die einzigen. Translation: who says that nobody here speaks german? You and me are not the only one for sure. @ObjectZero i read your post, and i got to admit that im really curious about what you said you have already done so far. It would be interesting to see some of your work. my bet is that objectzero is from germany too.
I don't know where exactly he is from, but I do know he lives in the USA, and has been traveling across it via his career. So it seems like a longshot.
You're right born in the US and still live in the US. I've just been in so many location it's hard for people to pin my location.
Here's a little gantry I'm making in SE, I'm planning on designing a similar one for Emyprion: View attachment 42 View attachment 43 View attachment 44 View attachment 45
