Noticed a weird trend on the Workshop the past couple weeks. People uploading other people's scenarios, using the same preview picture, and using the ID number of the stolen scenario as the upload name. All from different people, and each person doing this has no other Workshop submissions. Just go to the workshop and search for multiplayer scenarios and sort by most recent and you'll see them. Is there any way to get some of these taken down? I reported the one who re-uploaded one of my scenarios.
I just saw several like that. I also noticed several reuploads of the "Default Creative" scenario for some reason. Hopefully once these offenders are removed the surge will stop. I would be curious why this happened so recently, though...
I think I figured it out. For some reason, you can upload a scenario that you have subscribed to. So people must be clicking the "publish scenario" button and uploading them. Some of it might be by accident. The "upload" button should be grayed out on subscribed scenarios to prevent this from happening. If someone really needs to re-upload a workshop scenario, they can still copy the files over and rename it, but this will prevent people from being able to do this at the touch of a button in the new game start screen.
That very well could be. I would think that's probably the case with the 'Default Creative' scenario, and hopefully with the others, too. That definitely needs to be addressed.
