I've hopped from planet to planet, finally found a trading station, but it is not present in the area that I warp to...? I'm playing single player survival, and this has happened in three different games that I've started. So, how about fixing this particular break in the quest? Is anyone else having trouble here? Thanks!
The station is hard to find. If you're stuck, use the "map" command and it will show up. Use "map hide" to hide everything again after you put a waypoint on the station.
This makes no sense. It is a TRADE station it should have a beacon or something similar to attract attention to it to facilitate trade. Just imagine your local grocery store removing all its signs and advertising and trying to look like an inconspicuous office building, you would think that a silly proposition. So why would a TRADE station try to hide?
It's easy enough to fix, luckily. I agree with you that trade stations should be easier to find or have a beacon nearby them. (Both possible at the moment) It makes sense for some stations to stay hidden (illegal smuggler traders?).
but even the smuggler's cabin is found by the detector. You must get within only a couple of meters to get it to be recognized but the detector points you in the correct direction.
They should also tell you WHICH trade station- I've been to 4 of them now.... no sky high bar Also- it doesn't make sense that IDA can detect a powered down warp signature on a destroyed vessel in orbit but it can't find a trade station!
Ok, I need some help- I've visited every stop in the system- except the asteroid cluster. I've gone to every station. No quest prompt. Any idea which station I'm supposed to go to? Not even the station itself- the location with only the station and no planet, gives me a prompt- and it doesn't have the 'sky high' bar anyhow...
The trade station should be in the space around the starter planet. if you are unable to find it you can try the MAP command in the command menu accessed by pressing ~
hmmmm. ok, thanks. I got my SV shot out from under me at an ice planet, so once I'm spacebound again I'll look again.
