Fixed Own healthbar is visible when looking down [5977]

Summary: Own healthbar is visible when looking down

Description: After dieing or fighting (i don't know exactly what is triggering this bug), i can see my own healthbar when i'm looking down to the ground in the middle of the screen.

Steps to Reproduce: Fight and die against some creatures and after respawn look to the ground. Doesn't happen always i think.

I can see my own health bar in a brand new game that I haven't died in, just by looking straight down.

 

i made some more tests and it looks like this happens also if you ride your motorbike and then get off again, you can see your healthbar.

 

resolution is 1920x1080.
FOV is 60.

 

I can't seem to find the trigger for this. Returning to the brand new game that was doing this yesterday no longer sees it happening. Yesterday it seemed to continue to happen after a game reload, but today is a different story.

I will keep testing and trying to find the trigger for this.

 

I would recommend these steps to reproduce it (i don't know which of them is triggering the issue):
1.) Ride motorbike
2.) Get off Motorbike and fight against some enemies.
3.) Let one of the enemies kill you.
4.) Respawn in that area, get your weapon back and kill some more enemies.
5.) ride your Motorbike again
6.) get off the motorbike, equip your weapon and look to the ground.

if still not happening:
7.) target some enemies with your weapon so that you see their healthbar.
8.) fight some more enemies.

Sooner or later this issue happens mostly for me when doing these steps.

 

i can reproduce the issue but only when im in 3th person and switch back to firstperson while looking down and moving forward and then press v, but as soon as i move the camera or my position the healtbar vanishes like supposed.

steps to reproduce

go to 3th person view
don't have anything selected in quickbar
look down and move forward and backwards until your health bar appears
press v

It's still a issue in Alpha 10.2.2

 

I have had this problem since the health bar was implemented. Whether you look at the ground or look at the sky. It does not bother unless you try to target an enemy since only your own bar is displayed and it will not show the enemy's bar. It had already been reported and I do not remember reading anything related to it that indicated that it was solved.

 

Logged into game, 1stPerson view looked down to my feet, hit V keeping my gaze, Healthbar appears, hit V, Healthbar remains a few seconds and vanishes. After that each time looking down in 3rdPV the healthbar appears. Also if you AIM on the Floor before your feet you see your healthbar appear.

Hhmm… seeing my avatars health-bar while looking down both first and third view has been happening for a while... I thought it was normal.

It happens more regularly while swimming.
