Hi, I play at the EU server and found a rulebreak. My name is Lumathell, factiontag moj. Today, 24.02.2019 at 13.00 I was farming at Pandora Orbit when I found 2 structures used as a warningsystems in Asteroids from BUR. I made screenshots, but when I tried to look for the location, I was attacked and my vessel was destroyed immediatly.
I did a reset yet my "Base" remains. I try to do a CBestroy:10334375 it won't function. I'm in a dead stop mode. im inside the base, door closed and I cant get out. 2 hours until I can reset again. 9:40 PST 28Feb2019 US server sorry guys.
Hello. new player here. trying to log onto US server and it 's password protected? I tried just pressing the 'ok' button with no luck. I already checked the sticked post about the server and red the rules and no mention of a password?
I have had that occur now and then too. Just back out to the main menu screen, then back into the Join Server section and try selecting the U.S. Server again. This usually works for me but repeat the process until it stops asking for a password.
QUESTION ABOUT OFFLINE-PROTECTION I build a Base in the Empyrion PvP-Area on the HWS-Server (EU) and activate offline-Protection, but now the structure is gone. Is the function "offline-Protection" deactivated at HWS-Server?

What Server : Eleon US Public Server (Mercenary Camp) Problem : I logged in to someone parked under the water had destroyed my base and was looting it. Offline protection and land claim were on when I logged off and when I logged back in as you will see in the screenshots provided. Full power both fuel and capacitors. Time and date: 9:40pm CST give or take a few mins I logged in at around 9:54pm. Screenshots and Video: I logged in to see part of my base destroyed and this person under the water parked in front of where the offline protection would have been wrapped in layers of combat steel so no idea why he was under the water there, land claim device was also there, capacitors and fuel tanks. After I logged in this person flew up out of the water and I checked the base control panel just to understand the current condition and you can CLEARLY see offline protection WAS ON. Therefore this person exploited something to destroy my base offline and I want my base and my stuff back. That's the guy running out of the base after looting my stuff. Had I not been so shocked at the exploit Id have shot the dude and took my stuff back but I immediately went to "I need to record this to report it" Name of structure: "EA Main Base" as you can see. He then went to draining ammo on EA Capital after I logged in wouldn't fight it. I have some shadowplay if specific information or video is needed. I will do my best to provide you with what is needed but thank God for Nvidia shadowplay and screenshots this is clearly taken during this exploitation. Shots being fired from the CV EA Capital he was draining ammo from using the other side of my base which also had offline protection. Exploiting Player name: Mattcore37k Here is a video of me logging into this it took me 38 seconds to login, it would have taken this person multiple loot runs to loot the base. It is not possible for him to have both destroyed my base and made multiple loot runs in 38 seconds. This is uncut just chopped off the front and end you clearly can see offline protection was on and he destroyed and looted my base. None of my faction had been online for 2 days. I was on earlier that morning. So there is no way this can happen to my knowledge other than exploitation.
No just what he says in the video that my offline protection was down, then I check my control panel and it clearly was not. You can see it in the video though. Someone did mention that my ally could have been online and I want to say that was checked no one in my faction was online for 2 days except myself and it was my base. I get on every morning and I realize there's probably a PvP timer to trigger OP and it would surely have triggered being 9 or more hours. I was very confused because when I logged in I was missing cargo containers and I had logged in and had missing blocks before so I was going to restart. I went to the roof to see if anything was amiss with my drone and then noticed the missing elevator block and then the blocks missing from an SV and then saw the red SV signature and knew something was up. Which is when I saw this guy under the water with his massive SV.
Well that it says you have Offline Protection doesnt mean its "on" it just says u have the device placed. Its only "on" when there is a blue shield around your base. U cant see that if your online When you log out there is a delay before the OP gets active 1800 seconds (30 min)
Wow, so it was a legit base attack most likely. I gather he was under water to avoid getting shot at by the turrets. That's good to know about the 30 minute cool-down timer. That must be so players just can't logoff when things good bad to avoid losing an engagement....makes sense.
If it was leget idk still looking into it. Bit hard to spot from the video so im digging through the logs But that the guy claims it wasnt "on" was due to the delay Something u can know if u look at the server information
Yes, I remember seeing the offline delay now that you mentioned it. I'm still learning the game too like everyone else.
Yes I was offline for approximately 9 hours. You saw what I saw when I logged in due to shadowplay. As I said no one in my faction had been on therefore this OP should have protected the base and it did not. I am sure you guys have access to login and logout times of players. If you have access to logs the EA Capital ship was right there (EA Capital) with OP on and you can check its OP too. I don't believe it took damage until I came online. Which just further proves what I am saying that the base OP did not work as it was intended. Thank you for your continued help sir.
