One survivor, who fell in Akua years ago, called the Talons as "Old Man", had done a great job for the Talons, making his life easier and more useful with the things he knew.

Years later the "Old Man" died by natural means and the Talons made a wooden house in the mold of the human houses, in his honor.

By the time the Old Man's ship had fallen in Akua, he tried to send a ransom signal to the nearest planet, but it was light years away. The Humans of this planetoid had received a signal of rescue from the ship, which was far away in the depths of space, but without the resources to make such a trip, they gave up because they could not help.

"Old Man" lived for a long time in Akua until his death. Hundreds of years after the death of "Old Man," humans received a simple frequency signal and assigned a hyper-sleep rescue craft to the scene.

Some years later, arriving in Akua, they discovered that on the planet, there were ancient traces of humans and they found that someone had fallen there.

The humans then searched for more traces and found the Talons, who welcomed them with open arms. The humans did not understand the reception, and they were amazed, because the Talons knew their language and customs, like shaking hands when they see someone they knew. The Talons then explained what had happened because the story was passed down from generation to generation.

The Talons gave humans a device they did not know about, but for humans it was extremely valuable. The ID card of a pilot, which was destroyed by time, but which contained traces of who that man might be. The information was of great value, since what was discovered was that "Old Man" was actually the commander of a ship called "Hyperion", which had been missing for about ~480 years.

The men who had just arrived named the house, which the Talons had done in honor of the "Old Man" as "Talon's Gift," as a symbol of respect and honor between the two factions.

    Okay. Fine.

So, that ring I've been asked about. I've posted a link to the current baseline module for the 9.2.1 buildout. I've got a chart with all the offset positions to place the pieces of the ring, and their rotations. we'll see if we can make this work for everyone that wants one.

Placing this ring requires access to setrotation and setposition. So, either be a mod/admin on a server, make friends with one, or do this in creative mode. The coordinates I've listed are for default creative orbit.

    Transcendence85_2018-09-23_19-03-19.png

here's the data for the 24 segments. The first three numbers are you coordinates for setposition, the fourth number is your setrotation angle in the formation setrotation ID 0,0,###. If you wish to place the ring in another orientation and/or location, you can play with the numbers to your heart's content, but the overall offset from your central position will need to be the same as what is listed in the x and y columns below.

    x y z Rotation angle
    0.00 -555.00 -10000 0
    -143.64 -536.09 -10000 345
    -277.50 -480.64 -10000 330
    -392.44 -392.44 -10000 315
    -480.64 -277.50 -10000 300
    -536.09 -143.64 -10000 285
    -555.00 0.00 -10000 270
    -536.09 143.64 -10000 255
    -480.64 277.50 -10000 240
    -392.44 392.44 -10000 225
    -277.50 480.64 -10000 210
    -143.64 536.09 -10000 195
    0.00 555.00 -10000 180
    143.64 536.09 -10000 165
    277.50 480.64 -10000 150
    392.44 392.44 -10000 135
    480.64 277.50 -10000 120
    536.09 143.64 -10000 105
    555.00 0.00 -10000 90
    536.09 -143.64 -10000 75
    480.64 -277.50 -10000 60
    392.44 -392.44 -10000 45
    277.50 -480.64 -10000 30
    143.64 -536.09 -10000 15

This is the minimal cargo version to minimize power draw. Engineering is on the lower deck and can be changed and outfit however you like. The upper level is a skeleton to reduce blueprint size and allow for further customizations.

    Solar Biofuel Plant

    https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1633875389

I made this to get an idea of how nerfed the plant fiber farming is. Turns out you can keep a small HV or SV full of fuel this way without too much trouble but that's about it, and harvesting trees is usually easier.

It's pretty cheap to build given the size.

Henway Storage System Complete. Classes 1-5 for all your storage needs. Find the most efficient Storage Solution for your Storage Needs! Storing Iron, Copper, Cobalt, Silicon, Magnesium, Promethium, or Crushed Rock? Then the Class 2 Silo is for you! Our Class 3 is optimized for the storage and refining of Neodymium and Pentaxid. The Class 4 is your go to for Erestrrum and Sathium and if you're a 1%-er, this is your best option for Gold! For Zascosium, you can't beat the Class 5, and with modifications, it can be your ideal bulk wood storage solution!

Going back to my post earlier about maximum efficiencies for storage of raw materials, I created a series of storage BA units. These are optimized specifically for a particular orbit on the Transcendence server where a full 15 array of solar panels will give me 4.11 kPU. I have, therefore, kept the idle power use to just under 3.1 kPU in all cases and usually around 2.8. I have put two regular constructors in these. Not as fast as Advanced or the Furnace, but the much lower power drain just means that slow and steady will get you there. The priority on these designs was raw materials storage.

There is a docking spire for CV units on top and quad bays for small delivery SVs on the sides. Probably useless for most cases but I designed them to work perfectly with my small fleet of delivery truck SVs.

I'll be posting up the blueprints once I've had a chance to test them on the server. Mini-Fort II:

    https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1639470914

Basically the same as Mini-Fort I except:
    • Concrete upgraded to armored concrete.
    • Windows upgraded to armored windows.
    • Small SV landing pad on roof.
    • Foundation turned into a proper basement with better equipment arrangement and space for stuff like crops if desired.
    • An extra turret.
