I have discovered my new addiction. As an Original GM (Galdar) from the Grand daddy of MMO's (UO) I have seen a lot of stuff come an go. Been a part of a lot of Beta's and blah blah blah. Enough of the "I" crude. and name dropping comparisons. THIS GAME IS FLIPPING AMAZING! Can't believe this has remained hidden to me for 4 1/2 years. OMFG! I love this program and the potentials/promises it holds. The ONLY thing I see missing is an YouTube Line of tutorials covering some of this massive amounts of controls and connections. I can't wait to discover all the little goodies to explore, build, control, kill, etc etc etc. HOW CAN I GET ENVOLVED AND CONTRIBUTE?
Welcome! Become familiar with the forum and steam workshop. Create YT's and such if you like, is a section for promoting media content. Are several that makes LP's and Twitch, some have Discord channel too. Else there are guides and such, just that the game keeps changing since still EA.
Welcome, as a former player of the actual grand daddy of MMO's, Neverwinter Nights for AOL back in 1991 as well as Meridian 59 and The Realm Online and then one of the founders of LoD and proud member of the PKC on Baja shard, Ultima Online. To your questions, there are actually a lot of tutorials on Youtube. The problem is, the game is being updated constantly since its still in early access and you may not find something for the current build and most recent additions. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=empyrion+tutorial+2019&sp=CAI%3D There are literally 100s of tutorials up just for the last 3ish months. As for how to get involved, read up, learn as much about the game as you can, report any bugs you come across and then, start posting any ideas you may have in the proper forum while also spreading awareness of the game to help developers fund continued development! For contributing, learn how to build great designs and then upload them to the workshop for all to share. Perhaps, if you are interested, learn how to use the game tools and design some planets or scenarios and share them with the community...host a server if that is your interest.
