I would strongly think that both blocks, "Ramp C medium" & "Ramp A" would hinder the thrustflow. But i hav'nt any more solid info, like you. So far only "Shutter Windows" seem to be viable in front of thrusters, even my formerly used "Truss Blocks" will block as someone told me a while back...

Yes me too, that's why I colored it Probably gonna be my starter SV in A10 ; lvl 10, warp capable and no mat more than 500 if I remember properly. Thank you Na_Palm, but the front of the Corvette is very much to my dislike… (not in image, because) It sounded good in theory.... but it looks like the rear of a ship… Speaking of which, I felt disturbed by the rear, not too bad, but definitly not what I wanted. But maybe I leave it as it and call it 'spade'
Maybe a rotation of the front could help. If you put it vertical as the hammerhead ships from starwars I think. Could work. Maybe....
Today I spent quite a while going over my old Sathium-free builds. Ripping out walkway slope blocks and repositioning thrusters so they would no longer be blocked after version 10 drops.
Whew. Well THAT'S done now. Just spent awhile converting all of the default playfields over to custom ones so I can change what resources they spawn for my scenario. Just a lot of copy and pasting, copy and pasting, and more copy and pasting. But now the default planets in my scenario use the ore design philosophy of my scenario (less types of ore on each planet, etc). Erestrum and Zascosium has become a little more rare. I don't mind doing tedious stuff like this but I'd rather be making awesome POIs or planets! Speaking of which, I did snap this cool view while I was testing my scenario to make sure I didn't break anything. I did take time to make a little POI as well. The Zirax shot down one of the floating "Unknown Artifacts" and are salvaging it:
Finaly i'm motivated to start empyrion again, but I dont find time to actualy Play... Made good progress the last days. Try to finish it today before i leave tomorrow for vacation. all lights are on signals, so the performance will be better as you may think.
