I'm a fairly new player, and so far I'm quite impressed with the game overall. The changes in Alpha 10 to me just add a bit more flavor. Except for one thing that may or may not be a bug, but it is bugging the heck out of me. I've only played Alpha 10 release one game so far. A Solo Survival Temperate world on the large size, in Easy difficulty (I'm still learning the mechanics). I encountered an issue at the Opportunity POI. On the previous day, I had dilligently harvested all the trees around the base so that they didn't interfere with the solar panels. The very next morning, I found that a huge tree had spawned next to the base and was casting a shadow on the solar panels. I found that I could not cut this tree down. I couldn't walk through it, but even with a chainsaw I was unable to interact with it in any way. I has become an irritant and a nuissance. I built a HV with a harvester... still unable to remove the tree. In the local forest I have found the occasional group of trees respawning after I have cleared an area, and they too cannot be removed or harvested. If it wasn't for the location of that first tree shading my solar panels, I would just accept that some trees in the game just can't be harvested.

So I'm not the only one that observed this? Thank you. I started a new game and found the same issue this afternoon. That makes two worlds generated back to back with this bug. I call that easily reproducible.
Yep, looks like today's Hotfix did the job. My solar panels can bask in the radioactive fog once again... wait... what?
If it was the hotfix, it worked on our server. all the trees/rocks that had respawned and i couldn't remove I had marked by digging in the dirt under them so I wouldn't keep trying. Noticed when i logged in today they were all gone.
