Something I have never explored is the issue I have when building with blocks other than in full squares. I am getting more into the building side of the game now and one thing I never have fully understood are the block configurations. In the above screenshot, I have placed a wedge and even though I only want that part of the block the entire square image shown by the "box" of the block is used. I find this particularly troublesome on the interiors of structures as lately I have tried to build small structures with as many tools as I can cram inside. If I use say a half block, it still uses the square block area which interferes with object placements inside. I realize I can rotate the block but then when I addon outside I will have issues there. I know this isn't the clearest of posts in description but I am hoping some of the more experienced builders can explain if there is a way to use a half block, wedge, or any other that just takes up only the space it is intended to and not a square block area. Thanks in advance.
Alright. I assumed such as I could not find any way around it. Guess I shall plan accordingly. Thanks.
