Regarding Small O2 Bottles, It appears that the Water/O2 Extractor is the only source other than enabling the "itemmenu" on the Console. I would think ANY constructor should be able to craft them. At the very least, the mobile and/or small constructor should be capable of crafting small and/or emergency O2 bottles.
You mean other than your suit can produce out of small water bottles? Yes, their smaller, but hey... they're from the suit factory
Somebody correct me please: it was not previously possible to be manufactured in the builders in previous versions? If the suit can, then any builder should too. In fact it does but only large bottles, but this is not useful if we are preparing for an exit or raid. I was just thinking about making a request about it.
Using the wonderful Orka Element base as a POI. Still not sure if I want it to be a Polaris trade station or a hostile POI. It's so beautiful.
That moment when you look up and realize the sun is coming up. I think I'm done on the Abandoned Atlas Mine. It just needs to be playtested.
Knock yourself out. Let me know if you find any issues. Edit: That's open to anyone that wants to give it a whirl or take a look at it. For the best dungeon experience it's best explored in low light conditions without the player's suit light.
I haven't playtested it so I'm not sure how the difficulty level actually works out. There are several spots where it throws a bunch of mobs at you but those are mostly easier mobs with a tougher mob or two until you get to the end of the dungeon. It would probably be a little hard for a solo players but maybe good for two people.
finally got my HV hauler ready: for a name: Mantis sticked to me. Have all 4 colorthemes included to the palette, so you can use the one thats fits for you best: Link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1825015014
I killed me some spiders, planted some food, blowed some stuff up, oh and mined some ore. trying to find friends and connect with peeps.
Finally Managed to escape the weather in Makesh, was hoping for sunnier climbs, mine and the crews ideas where sadly dashed when we ended up in Shiot, its a very large jungle planet after setting up a small greenhouse as myself and the crew where pretty darned hungry, the first waves hit us at dawn, they didnt leave us much by the time we fought them back, this time we thought get some defences, we had only just repaired our buildings when the next wave hit we lost a good few that day. We had built our small settlement within 500 metres of a Zirak stronghold and they where onto us, we cant go back only forward, I could smell mutiny in the rank brewing a few stations ago through idle gossip from some of the lower engineers who had loose lips under the influence, we needed to make a home, and this stop was our only option or the next warp could be my last... The planet is pretty darn big dense jungle lots of local wildlife along with plants, so a pointless exercise building those blasted greenhouses, but we had commited. We had utilized quite a large amount of our dwindling resources and the men have itchy trigger fingers and this will help quell the unrest, so the plan weve never actually had a safe base to operate out of this is going to be the one sadly this isn't too safe.. the next planet seems quite interesting but for know finish this blasted greenhouse, the chief engineer in charge of the operation seems quite mad.. Hes come up with the idea of linking the greenhouses to form a mesh a network so to speak so that we can have a fully operational base purely out of solar panels, although initial reports seem to be favorable (I have my doubts on the next one) he's planning to convert the next greenhouse that comes from the 3D printer into a secure dock for the CV which desperately needs some upgrades weve not had a chance of doing increasing the footprint of the base and also increasing the size of our defensive network, which to be fair is shaping up pretty darn good I think if he pulls this one off, we will have to print him off a teleport and let him have some R and R for a day or two. managed to get a hq greenhouse and medical facilities established the greenhouse isn't required but it gives us our only chance of surviving this hell hole. Each "greenhouse has joined onto it part of the landing pad I was hoping to separate the blocks and add a core so we can utilse the runway at a later date, the Chief engineer tells me these greenhouses can only be printed once which kinda sucks. its looking good though 6 buildings so far with a total of 60 small solar panels sustaining our defenses with small operational uses, which is good thing in the longrun as you cant achieve much if your Kia. Were itching to secure our boundary but not sure how big we might need the runway although with this planet being off the beaten track no minerals so not on any trade route that I might know of , cant see us getting many visitors.. I agree with the chief engineet and want to find out how much energy we can get from Bay 11 which will be the dry dock, and I am pretty sure the engineer has stashed somewhere a supply of Large solar panels. installed in the greenhouses are small fuel tanks so far weve only had to top up once with biofuel and with the base being located in a dense jungle we will have an ample supply of fuel. I believe the chief medical officer has a few members of the crew keeping a watchful eye on me as a few times he feels I am turning into an insomniac, which sadly is one thing he cant cure. Not sure how big this base is going to get or what to call her the only thing it wont let me do is change the blasted name from greenhouse.... Any big ships out there that I can print off for scale purposes only please let me know, and for future status reports. was hoping for better weather for the imagery but alas today wasn't one of them. Report out.
That is an awesome screenshot! By the way, if you look hard enough, and get lucky enough, you might find something special on that planet: Spoiler: SPOILERS!!!!!!! If you find any wrecked small vessels, take a good look at them before deciding to dismantle them. They might be worth rebuilding. I love that story! Nice defenses. Hopefully they hold up.
Yup! I still need to make a new version of that ship. A lot of people seemed to like it but it's so outdated now with the mass/volume changes.
before when I built two structures I had no defenses, my machine lagged out for about a week, had to figure a way, just found out whilst the building are linked together unable to change name so I just lined up the new "hangar" cut link was then able to change its name and its still able to link up, one thing though you might be able to help with as I am still a noob, BA attack. ongoing unable to proceed, although its glitched no attack is coming, ive three dead troops still walking about, ive tried to remove them but it doesn't recognize them. so its holding up the rest of the attacks is there a command to clear current attack so its able to carry on as norm ?
