Maybe something like this? Right click (or shift-right click?) first planet, then right click second planet to link them (add orbit to "allow"). If they were already linked, then this would unlink them by removing orbit from "allow" and adding it to "deny". Maybe CTRL-right click would create a one way warp link. And maybe alt-right click could clear both orbits from each other's allow/deny fields (to reset them back to autolinking based on range). Having a way to change warp connections in EPG would be amazing, especially with multiple solar systems now.
Completely. If I could move planets around AND change allow/deny with just a mouse click that would make EPG 10x more valuable to me.
It would be awesome to be able to just right click on the first orbit, select one way or two way wormhole, then simply drag the line to the next orbit. (Or have the line follow the cursor, clicking the next orbit applies it) This way the user can see the warp line before clicking on the orbit.
Either one of those would be the bomb, I agree. I've really, really wanted this functionality for a long time. I tweak a custom scenario for every restart we do, which pretty much follows any significant update to the game. I would think there are tons of people out there in the same boat, and more that would use the EPG who currently don't, if it did this.
I know guys, all that fancy stuff sounds so cool and easy. But programming it is quite heavy At least what we are planning to do... Don't forget I'm creating Empyrion universes for almost 4 years now. We try our best to create something great and honestly I am sitting on it for 5 days straight already. Really looking forward to reveal it and get your impressions. Don't have an ETA yet but trying as fast as possible... Stay tuned
We released a new tool which lets you create multi Solar system universes. It is an improvement and replacement of this EPG tool. https://empyriononline.com/threads/tool-ewssc-empyrion-web-solar-system-creator-v1-0-0.91548/
Hey guys, so as you might have read already.... sad news: This tool is discontinued . But everything has a bright side, doesn't it . From now on, please use the tool that rex mentioned above with way better and nicer features! Thanks a lot for all the great suggestions and help you guys gave us!
