    Started a new project. I'm now trying to build (link -> ) http://i.imgur.com/CpGnAMS.png ,or atleast something like this with some missing details(i mainly like the overall shape). Seems like its gonna be yet another nightmare regarding fuel, estimating size to be close to 250x250xwhatever the heigh will be ,not sure about that part yet as i'm currently testing some shapes regarding that matter.

    That is one tough build. Love to see it when it's finished.

    Tried my hand at making a HV, decided I wanted it to look like a dragon. The poor thing got all beat up (with afew explosions) when I took it around the planet, getting flung up/plummeted back down many times. It was fun having it glide around, so I decided to make it into an SV.

    I've now got lots of Ammo, & went to a Iron Ore Vein & mined a chunk of it out, & with its infusion of more Iron got my Temp Base more built up with Machines including experimenting with a H2/O2 Generator & noticing to my amusement that Hydrogen Fuel Packs seem to be able to power only my Small Fuel Tank for my Base, but it's enabling me to save Promethium Fuel Packs for making Charges & powering the new Water Generator & afore-mentioned H2/O2 Generator. Somehow I can't help but to think a H2/O2 Generator will struggle to maintain power for a large Base for a strong amount of time, but still an interesting machine idea nonetheless & makes enough Oxygen that it makes me wonder if the O2 Generator's not worth building compared to more H2/O2 Generators in future establishments. Might be interesting to see in the future if I could also fuel a HV with the dudes, minding the thought of packing Hydrogen Fuel packs in a Storage Box to go.

    Also spent a bit more time with my CV Building in Creative Mode, trying all sorts of screwy stuff. One such act of screwiness seems to have uncovered a Bug relating to the lower part ramp block, i'll be headed to the Bug Report area of the Forums to deliver some Screenies for this & ask if they need my Creative World File as well.

    The Hydrogen fuel is great for conserving resources. But you will be refueling more often. That's the trade. I prefer the large fuel packs. They are slightly more efficient then the normal ones. Less then the Hydrogen but last almost 7 times as long.

    I'm using solely Hydrogen (except for the H2O2 generators), cause I'm greedy.

    Today I continued field testing program of my hover corvette prototype, so I took her for a trip all around the Akua.
    Visited all nine POI, mined some minerals, searched for straits and passes to move from sea to sea.
    Got tonns of fun, parts and minerals.

    Totally assured, that hovers are not bad-low-flying-SV.
    They are small, power efficient CV for the planets.
    Although, they still in need half-dozen of fixes for now, IMHO.

    There's times when I wonder why it's named 'Thorn' when it's not long skinny & slender... but nonetheless it's been fun to watch in action in his Vids. :)

    Didn't get anything meaningful done in my Survival Game today, but in Creative I took a break from the CV Build cause I dunno if I should dare touch it when the World File it's in might still eventually get needed by the Dev Team so I started a new SV Build to attempt my first Alien Ship Build... if I like how it turns out I may find the courage to submit it to Eleon & find out if it's liked enough to get accepted. :)

    Finally drew a cargo/passenger shuttle design I was satisfied with, which was inspired by the death gliders from Stargate.
    Now all I have to figure out is what to name it (imo, one of the hardest parts). Planet_Pluto_2016-02-04_10-51-02.png

    Edit: Named it Zenith. @Snowbeard62 it's on steam and in the blueprint section now (which ever method of dl you prefer), feel free to use it and have fun :D

    That I like. You have to post that on Steam. Sometime this weekend I was planning on building a stargate style pyramid CV

    Continued cranking out small SVs for upcoming Red vs Blue battles. Now up to a dozen light fighters (I'll consider this a "squad") and 3 heavy fighters. Planning on getting the heavy fighters up to half a dozen before building a second CV warship.

    No pics this time tho, sorry.

    My Survival Starter Base now has a Oxygen Station & Large Oxygen Tank. Figured learning how they work & getting comfy with them BEFORE I need them on other Planets might not be a bad idea. Also got my first Survival Mode Starter HV built & tried it out by using it vs a Epsilon Defense 1 Base. The Minigun on it wasn't able to take much from the Base Defenses, (My Turret mighta even been 1 shot...) & I had to drive it away in a panic. Over 550 Meters away, & on the other side of a River, I felt safe, turned it off, then swam the river & continued attack on the Base on foot. Got it down to 1 Turret tryin my shiny new Rocket Launcher (Seems to rock vs Turrets but seems disappointing vs much else... exactly what Lift Pizzas said would happen... shame.) then suddenly realized my turned off HV was under attack by a Drone! I thought turning my HV off also turned off its Core! Apparently not... I swam the River as fast as I could & downed the Drone with my Assault Rifle. By then there was much damage to the HV so I decided to just take the Fuel out, take the Ammo out, then Remove the rest of the Parts & pack them up with me & assemble a new HV, including a new Core for it. Wow, everyone kept saying they ignore stuff after a item's Core is dead... this Drone was bloodthirsty! It was as if I had built & programmed it... Anyway after that I took out the last Turret of the Enemy Base, found out the Rocket Launcher can 1 shot Automatic Doors & that's a LOT funner then Lift Pizza's Pistoling down adjacent Walls imho, downed the single Sentry Gun inside, Rocket Launchered the Core dead, & the Base was killed. Looted it & headed home.

    Built second HV with exact Specs of the first one cause it seemed to do well for a minimalist Starter HV, I just need to not ask it to fight a Base. THIS time I remembered to Blueprint it, then realized right after I forgot the Minigun for it... Got that made & Installed then accidentally deleted the Blueprint of my Creative Mode HV I like by mistake instead of the intended Starter HV Blueprint. :mad: I was hating myself for this, then realized I still have it in my Creative World & can just Re-Blueprint it & mighta needed to anyway cause it was a 5.2 build. I decided to delete all Blueprints with intent to eventually Re-Blueprint for 5.3 Compatibility then Re-Blueprinted the Starter HV. Ya'all should be able to check it out on the Steam Workshop now.

    After I got the second HV built I stocked up, re-ammo'd, turned my Base Core back off (I am doin this before leaving it every time even though it has 2 Cannon Turrets cause I dunno how much I can trust those Turrets with Defense, plus fear the thought of the Base running outta Fuel then the Base being helpless to attack while i'm away. Besides, why burn Base Fuel when I don't need the Base to do anything for me atm? After I actually have anything to keep in my new Fridge this might change... but for now...) & decided to explore the rest of Akua. Got most of the Planet done, including finding the Drone Base. My HV Gun does decent but not great at dealing with the Drones... until one time i'm having it fight 2 Drones at once near a Crashed Titan part & I get the brilliant idea to get outta my HV & have my Assault Rifle & Turret work together... I die in less then one second & I realize I exited my HV onto the top of my Cockpit... right in front of my Turret... :oops: I Respawn near the Death Point & while i'm running back to the HV it gets the first one down & the second one changes target to me as i'm running back. I can't find my Backpack for some reason, no marker, no visual on it at all. I distract the Drone while my Turret attacks it, & by the time it kills it I have a sliver of Health left. I search everywhere around for my Backpack but to no avail. Suddenly I figure, I died on top of the Cockpit... could the Backpack have gotten stuck in the Cockpit itself or in my HV Geometry? I try getting into my HV & moving & wiggling it around... sure enough it's shaking & jostling around as if something's stuck in it & affecting it. I try Saving, Exiting, & Re-Entering Game. Now my Backpack is below my HV! Stuff saved! :D

    I'm looting Crashed Titan Parts as I find them, but waiting on the other Enemy Bases. Now I almost have the Planet explored, only a couple Continents left that I can traverse en-route back to my Base. I begin, & during this get into a shootout with a lone Cannon Drone. This time my Turret disappoints me... it fires what seems like over 300 Rounds & definitely had at least one Reload Cycle but somehow doesn't kill it before the Drone kills my Cockpit with me in it. I Respawn near Death Point again & thankfully the Turret is still attacking without my Cockpit being alive anymore. As I run back to it, FINALLY the damn Turret kills the Drone. Also, this time my Backpack didn't try to hide from me & I got my stuff back again. Sadly i've lost all control of my HV, so I turn its Core off, (Wish I had thought of doin this at the Epsilon Defense 1 Raid...) take what I can outta it just in case, & am Exploring the final 2 Continents on foot as I run back to my Base to make a new Cockpit & hopefully manage to hoof it back to my HV to get it goin again, hoping a damn Turret won't find & kill it off despite its Core being off. Partway back from this return trip, sadly my bed calls & I had to save & exit game... *Cliffhangar*

    Also, what the buggers is these weird gassy lookin Green Walls ya can encounter on the Planet that seems to screw with your Character but Vehicles seem to be able to drive through just fine?

    Edit: Doh! Forgot to do the FPS Test thingie... still need to get that done.

    My apologies for this Double Post, but frankly I think my prior Post is plenty full...

    I managed to finish my Trek back to my Base, craft a resupply of Ammo to make sure not to have too little, then got a new Cockpit crafted, then trekked back to my HV. It was a long going, full of irritating Plant Monsters & a couple Drone Kills. Finally I made it back to the HV & blessedly it was still okay! (Also figured out the 'Gassy Green Wall'... I take it it's the "Seam" of the Planet in regards to how it's 'wrapped around'...?) I killed a Plant Monster that got in my way as I got to my HV, then got the new Cockpit Installed, re-fueled it up, & it was good as new! :D

    I noticed I was near several Promethium Deposits & decided "Meh, why not? I'm here." & attacked one with my Drill & dug up about 4 Drill Charges of Promethium Ore, then resumed my Exploring the last bit of the Planet. Found one more Cobalt Ore Vein & that's it, lookin like i've explored all the relevant parts of the Planet now. I decided to dig up a bit more Cobalt just cause I could then finished my return to my Base. All that Mining got me to level 15 & i've got the Minigun unlocked now!

    It turned out I had dug up over 800 Promethium Ore & have now learned the hard way it takes over a RL hour & a LOT of Hydrogen Fuel Packs to get it all Processed & I now have about 8 1/2ish full stacks of Promethium Pellets... mighta got a bit muscle headed with the Mining, but oh well, i'll be needing to fuel a CV someday anyway. Got my Minigun & plenty of Ammo crafted up too... next play, i'm gonna play with my new toy in all those Enemy Bases around the Planet, saving the Boss Battle of Akua, the Drone Base, for last...

    Once i've conquered Akua, methinks it'll be about time I build my first Survival SV, then use it to get into Space for the first time & explore the Moon, & if I can, get some Sathium Ore too, then time to make my first Survival Mode CV... frankly once I leave Akua, do I ever even need the Planet again?

    Edit: (This Forum needs a Devil Emote...)

    This is not a bug, drones can start as soon as you lay the base starter now.

    I run all my bases on H2. Every one of them has two water generators and two H2/O2 generators. I have no idea what I am going to do with the cargo boxes full of extra O2, but I have no trouble powering my bases, HVs and SVs with H2. My CVs generally run on Large Fuel Cell (Promethium) power, but they barely make a dent in their supply (generally 6-10 Large Fuel Tanks with a stack of fuel cells in a cargo box with some other supplies). This leaves the regular Fuel Cell (Promethium) supply for running the water/H2/O2 machines and making drill/F&F/R&R ammo. Never going to run out of Promethium on Akua because for some reason I got about 7 Promethium deposits on my current seed.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Today I replaced every old window with new windows, on every planet base and CV, in every game I still have a save for. That's 2946 windows.
    Yesterday I discovered that the physics in EGS are still not quite done yet, by somehow TRIPPING OVER MY ESCAPE POD I had just landed in and BEING LAUNCHED AT HIGH SPEED ALL THE WAY INTO SPACE! Yes, I literally bounced up at such high speed that I transitioned from Omicron on the ground to Omicron Orbit in under two seconds in my space suit. I also discovered upon reentry that it is possible to come down on dry land and, using the jetpack alone, touch down without a scratch (500/500 health) if you are very, very careful. A good thing because at suit speed I would never have been able to reach my CV on the other side of the planet, even if I could get out of the gravity well.
