It was fixed already but not every block in every POI was changed. A while ago the BA/CV and HV/SV railings were the same block. The devs then split it up, which made the ones in bases and CV's then become the small block version. In order to get the correct version you have to remove all the old ones by hand and replace them with the new BA/CV only version. Some of them still haven't had 100% of the blocks converted. I mean, there even are still some POI's that return hull blocks, and it's been years now since those were used.
I have now begun the Epic journey that is every young mans right of space-game passage: Constructing his first Millennium Falcon....And updating the Ebon Hawk for Alpha 11. On a side note just putting it out there how much of a pain it is to update all your builds to conform to the new stages of development. A welcome problem in the cesspool of early access games but still, what a chore.
On US Official, warped into an area, only to be greeted by CV/BA's around the warp in points (500m or less) ... all the warp in points for that area. If this is legal on US Official, I am about to have some serious fun!
Was the last hours a little bit (more than) bored so i tried to build the Razor Crest from the Mandalorian
With all of the new blocks available, I decided it was time to update the CS OBERON. What you see below is the beginning of the Mk2. Still a lot of work to do on the outer hull. As always, single color and texture in use while I work out the basic hull shape and deco. Color and texture are usually the last tweaks. It is just how I work. Still a very rough draft at this point, so everything you see below is subject to change as I tweak the hull and interior spaces. I will be keeping the wing-located SV docking bays, but I may change the port-starboard pass-through HV / cargo bay for a more traditional rear-entry version so I can achieve a lower-profile while maintaining usefulness. CS OBERON II - BIP Original CS OBERON for comparison
I've been so busy lately, I haven't had time to post anything, but I did manage to tear myself away for a bit to share this: Spy-cam imagery of a new, armed, mining CV, the Ogre-class. Accommodations are sparse at best, as this is a highly focused ship, built to gather ore, an no small amount of it, 260,500 units worth. Intel obtained shows the vessel with a small load onboard. As configured, this is a Tier-3 ship, with some available CPU remaining for further customization. Surprisingly agile for its size and bulk. In addition to this, I've been growing a rather nice base and just opened a public-access health care facility.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1265210417&searchtext= There's several other versions as well. Siege did a remarkable job of it a while back with this one: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1369297545&searchtext=
Started to work on an Endgame CV Procurator, T4, Level 25. Will be bristling with Weapons, all maxed out (My Little Farm will be included) Still only a bit more than a thought but a start...about 250m long.
I think people underestimate the fun of building a really big CV in survival. It extends the the amount of playing time. It's added at least more two to three weeks to my normal playing time before I run out of things to do.
Seems you see my point by building only in Survival. And if boredom strikes you down...take a brake and do the same to some of your "hosts"
My streaming webside for series was down so i had a little bit time to build 3 new SW ship's a U-Wing , a Lancer Pursuit craft and a Mandalorian Fang Fighter the ship's on the left side
I enjoy building in Creative as well because I can experiment and just use the blueprint in my survival game. Which I do love doing that but you're right building CVs in survival does add an extra element to the game because for most of my CVs I have to build platforms and elevators just to finish my CVs . So it's almost like being in construction and building a really tall building. I think building in both game modes adds a lot to the game itself because there are things l build in creative that I just won't have the time to build in survival with defending the base, having to gather resources when I'm the middle of building.
