The tower of the Hyperlink is almost complete. I think I add four turrets on platforms nearby and I still need to complete the interior. I had to change the color scheme to Karana style, because the deep colors like red is not always working on large complex structures. Fine for small.
Thank you siege. I know you liked my landing pads, but I certainly have my limits. What CrazyZ, Jrandall and lot of other talented builder does I certainly never make.

More 3D tetris - on my little SV this time. I have finally turned it into a useful dropship and POI assault flyer. Initial build as T2 at L10+, upgradable into T4. This is the T3/L12 unlocks version (which surprisingly for just a little ship is only a few point short of T4): 2 x gatling, 4 x rocket launcher, airtight cabin with usual creature comforts and drone hatch (so you and can jump, release drone and fall back into cabin environment), shields, warp drive, 10K cargo, 1k ammo and *lots* of thrusters Its party piece is that is also my HV lifter and designed to use and a pair with that. Plonk the HV on the ground for its turret coverage and its loot containers serves as extra cargo space giving the pair of them around 23K of combined storage for mining large patches or fully looting and salvaging a medium POI building etc (I think the last one I did came to around 19K combined loot and salvage). If I need to hide this thing (to protect it from drones etc) on an underground POI raid, takes just a minute or so to dig an unground cave for it with the HV to hide it in. It also has a couple of LCD projector that serve as paralax based docking alignment aids for the HV - the red+green triangles floating under the tail in the 3rd image. I still want us to be able to make hybrid SV+HV - ie get rid of the differences, in the mean time this seams about as close as I can get in concept.
Recent experiences I had with the Drone Faction showed me that my CV was not able to stand up against a "Nullifier" in terms of Fire Power or Toughness. Therefore I shifted around the Turrets installed by replacing, as a first step, the Flak against Rocket Turrets for longer Range and harder hitting. Also I moved the forward facing fixed Rocket-launchers from the "Nose"-Position into the CV's Wings - can be seen here: As I have not maxed-out the Complement of Turrets yet I maybe put 2 or 4 more Turrets on the upper Hull in front of the Artillery Turrets to increase the volume of Fire there.

The engagement lasted about 45 sec... in the first 5 sec I lost my shield, after about 15 sec 8 of my 10 Nose-Weapons where gone together with about 1/3rd of the Combat steal 3-layerd upper hull. Until I was out of range - about 1,5 times the distance my Turrets could fire - I lost about 15% of my Hull...
Found some - at least for me - new POI for the Polaris but also for the Zirax. First time I saw Zirax actually mining Ore
You're lucky you got away! Those Nullifiers lore-wise are designed to nullify the target's shields with their ion cannons, disable their weapons and engines with rockets, then they latch on to the target with their grasping arms and activate gravity generators, instantly killing the crew inside with the resulting gravity forces. Then salvager drones come tear apart the poor victim's ship, hauling it back to a nest to be turned into more drones.
