Mode: Survival Mode: Singleplayer SEED-ID: 243958 If applicable: MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: No Reproducibility: Always Severity: Minor Type: Quests Summary: Solo Mission 1 does not progress upon finding Titan sections Description: When doing the solo mission to find the parts of the MS titan, the game does not recognize you as having found said pieces despite being inside the location. This has occurred for both the front and mid parts, and I suspect the rear part once I get to it. All other parts of the quest work fine so long as you manually complete the PDA sections. Repo steps: 1. start new survival 2. active PDA missions for solo mission 1 3. travel to front part of MS titan, note the PDA does not check that you have done this 4. manually check this part of mission, proceed to the titan mid part 5. at titan mid part, notice again game does not acknowledge you found said thing, again manually proceed 6. note that you can find the datapad fine, and that it does display a marker.
This is the same for many missions (at least story missions) Workaround is manually advance the objectives once complete (click the checkbox) You will have to do this for every objective, but it does work.
The distance set for reaching a POI is very low. The Titan ones can at least be reached by diligent mining. The Talon monument point is within the structures blocks. The second solo mission becomes quite hilarious as you actually have to enter the small wrecked ship to get the notification to stay out of it!
Known issue from the PDA tech change. All missions are currently in a rework for updating. Might take a week or two, though.
