Ah- I didn't see the thread. Yeah, lots of times I wish we had a) extension cords, and b) hoses. The best place to put an 02 tank on the damaged hv appears to be in one of the two empty slots behind the pilot seat. If they add the "you sit in the chair with a suit and you can breath off the tank" feature this would be a great time to introduce the drone .. no easy way to place the tank in the void without blowing away blocks but if you float max and jump out the drone can slip underneath no problem.
I've removed the task for the next iteration. Might need to do a seperate mission for Arid with a different vessel .. when i find the time to. Although you use the vessel O2 when you are seated in O2-void environments, this does not fit for Temperate a lot.
Maybe true for Arid but not true for "no 02" the way you would want/expect for an umbilical; I did a BP of the "repaired with gen/tank/02 Damaged Hoverbike" and then went to the local moon, spawned and filled my suit tanks and those of the bike, and took a spin ... my suit tanks depleted, the bike's tanks stayed level, and I took rad damage (as expected) ... the hoverbike is a realllly exciting ride on a lowG moon- well worth the drive. Probably would work if you also installed a ventilator since those create a breathable square right next to them even in a hard vacuum. Time to go grab a shower.
Yeah those tanks are absolutely useless because it uses an open cockpit and it's not placed in a sealed and ventilated area.
