So I have been exploring and found a neat planet to play around on. Well before this I set my CV as my home spawn. While on the planet I was hovering next to a alien helix and when I dismounted the cockpit it dropped me out of the ship. Turning off the CV was no good because it was stuck to the helix. I decided to die and spawn on the CV. It worked, however, it spawned, me and the CV back in the original Solar System That I was in when I selected the "home spawn" box on the CV. so of course my backpack and such is toast. On my way back to the same planet, after my warp, I tried warping to the planet. Now it says "no core" and the shield as well was removed form the ship. relogging solved that mostly. point of the post - it warped me and the "home Spawn" back to the system where it was made a home spawn location. Like it was a stationary base instead of a CV When I died again some time later it did it again. Both me and my ship were sent back to a different sector. No chance of regaining my gear. I did notice that the home spawn did say it was in a different sector. So apparently it is registering my ship as a base instead of a CV.
So after the issues below, now I have a new problem. I went back to the alien destroyed planet and my space base was gone (I was able to drop one finally). Also the POIs on the planet were not showing anymore. So I left the planet surface and thought I should relog since all these places, bases and markers were not showing. When I logged back in I was floating in space and my ship was in another system. I had my faction teammate come get me. While he was otw I relogged again. At this point I canto log in anymore. It says "Waiting for server approval" . Now to make it more interesting. My teammate logged out as well. He is now in the same postion as me. Floating in space with no CV. system = Radhodai, planet "sector" Eldaum. If I can log in again I will try to die and hopefully rez back at my ship. More info, tried having another member come get us and every time he tries to use the galaxy map it says "cannot send to dedicated server" and only gives the option to quit
thank you..was really enjoying ourselves. Definitely something that needs to be resolved before release. In 11.5 if you got stranded you could just have someone come get you. Or even Jetpack to a planet and try to make a new ship like being stranded on an island. But if this happens in deep space you have no options and the new HUGE system could make it impossible for someone to find you or to much of a pain to try. by the way, any idea why it stopped letting me in? I had a thread that explained how now I am getting a waiting on permission form server message
checked this morning and still cant join experimental server anymore. just locks up on "waiting for serval approval" so that's how the aliens defeat us.
Can put you back in the faction and make you own once you joined. Ill remove your ID let me know when you joined back
for some reason it is still showing me as playing and will not "stop". not going on my computer atm. Are you showing my ID as still in game or trying to access it while waiting approval? I have had to task manager out every since last night since it locks up on waiting for server approval
back in game as lvl 1. made a sv and back with team mates. TY. will avoid that system until you all resolve the issue. all good on the faction front. If you need anything or have any Qs about what happened let me know. Would hate for that to happen to someone else
