Sorry, my English is not very good. There may be some problems Is there any article about the optimization of game frame number in the forum? I like this game very much. I played it for 800 hours at 30fps, but the latest update made me only able to play it at 20fps. I can still play this game, but my eyes are protesting. Is there any software or optimization that can improve the frame number of the game? I'm using Process Lasso and CpuCores to improve my frame number, but I don't know how to set the parameters in the software for this game. Is anyone experienced? My computer hardware configuration CPU - Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2660 v2 @ 2.20GHz GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB 3 GB RAM - 16 GB Samsung @ 1333 MHz Storage - Yeston SSD Extreme 480G 448 GB win7 I would appreciate any suggestions
My experience is Lasso wont improve this games performance for a start. Empyrion is built around multiple threads to multiple cores. The game loves hyperthreaded CPUs, that alone will increase the FPS 20 odd if the CPU is 3GHTZ on the clock or more. The problem I see with your set up is the CPU and possibly Motherboard. That CPU has a low clock speed for a start, thats a huge draw back in Empyrion, especially if the CPU is not hyperthreaded though yours is at least hyperthreaded. The game was never tested on server style systems or dual CPU systems for desktop playing, the server testing done has been for dedicated server code. So the game is designed and built around desktop PCs, which are slightly different in the CPU that your architecture is in your CPU. So my 5960 8 core hyperthreaded intel, in this game, will literally eat yours for breakfast and although you may have 10 cores and 20 threads, for playing at a desktop level my system will kill it, but as a dedicated server your system would eat mine alive, utterly kill it. So its not that you have a weak system, more that you have a system thats designed more around servers than desktop gaming. If you can afford just a CPU and motherboard like an x99 and a 5960 or similar, your talking over 60 FPS instantly. You could even drop down to a 4 or 6 core CPU, be sure any CPU you grab has at least 3ghtz on the clock, and it will pull over 60 FPS. If that was just an 8 core intel 5960 CPU your game would be pulling over 60 FPS. The rest of your system looks good assuming you have a decent power supply. Our video cards are similar, we both run SSD, we both have 16gig of RAM in the system, my system has 1200W power supply. https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-980-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1060-3GB/2576vs3646 From what I can tell, its all about that CPU your running.
