@jmcburn I haven't checked in for a while but I have to say I am sooo happy you are still working on this. It's a content creator's dream to have a tool like this available. Now if I could just find one to simplify all the code I have to write/modify to make missions...

    UPDATE (v1.95.4 b2815) is out

Fixes a lot of stuff in space dynamic POIs.
Also now SpacePOINear/Avoid POIs can be selected down to current POI, if the same groupname exists twice in POI list.
    Log error fix.

Hi I don't know if this has been suggested but is there any way you can add the ability to select more than one blueprint to add as poi and then single edit after added ? It may just be me being lazy but it gets tedious after a bit and 25 planets later.... upload_2020-2-8_8-50-4.png

Well, multi editing and creating is on the list, but not a quick and simple thing to do. :)
But I understand what you mean. ;)

But I would suggest a different workflow:

Setup one POI as good as you can, then simply copy/paste it multiple times in the list with Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, and then change the prefab for each and/or adjust details. Maybe that's faster.

    upload_2020-2-8_16-13-16.png

    Setup one POI
Select it. Hit Ctrl+C, then multiple times Ctrl+V.

    Now change the prefabs.

That will work in any list where entries don't need to be unique.

    After revisiting the

    MULTI-Item-Editing

feature today after many failed attempts, it seems I had a breakthrough: :)

    upload_2020-2-8_19-36-43.png

Writing and updating selected properties on multiple playfield items seems to be finally working. I'll be releasing a testing candidate for use with random POIs (for now), if no issues arise.

The thing is, you will never be able to edit ALL properties here. Simply due to the fact, that some properties rely on other properties' values and changing those will most likely break the playfield.

But as an example, I don't think, changing above values could cause any harm. if you know differently, please let me know. :)

Also feel free to add suggestions, what properties do you think should be enabled for multi-editing, if this does work without issues.

So your stable branch is actually well past your Experimental branch?

Experimental was just for the large changes that came with the transition from 1.64 to 1.9.x (new dynamic editor and internal code structure rebuild)
But the 1.9.x branch has proven to be pretty stable already.

So 1.9x is 'stable enough' to be listed under stable now, I guess. But it's still the feature test branch and could cause issues in every newly implemented feature. But that's always the case. :)

As soon as 1.9.x is 'feature complete' and tested for a while I will rename it to v2.0 stable.

    This looks very interesting.
To be able to set up your playfields in this way would be really good for the game.
Thanks for all your hard work

Can't wait to see what you'll be able to do once Alpha 12 features start rolling in. Great work!

This tool has been soooo helpful in designing my scenario, Escape From Purgatory! Thank you! Any chance there is plans for an updated version for Alpha 12 support?

Yes there will be an Alpha 12 version sooner or later. :)

Have been ill for several weeks, but I feel much better already.

Can't promise to make it till A12 public release though, as I missed most of the A12 development process and have to get into all the new features first.
Also, not sure how much of coding I can do at one time, as long programming sessions are still very exhausting for me. So it might be a while (at least until EPD A12 is feature complete and stable), but a first testing version might be available soon)
