Awe crap that version is supposed to have a big screen and surround sound. This one should be listed as a "main cabin". Edit: Sorry I got hung up on my typo and didn't answer your armament question. I used the Plasma cannons as well because I expect in future versions we may see alternate types of defenses and in previous games I played different weapons are countered more effectively by certain types of defense. Think electronic counter measures to neutralize rockets, shields to scatter energy weapons, armor to take the pummeling from projectile weapons...

Rant begins > I know this should prolly be hover craft in many of your minds, but personally I see no point in making anything that requires more components than necessary in HV-format since there's no advantages in that at all (after you use materials which raise level cap beyond 5). <End rant So to the business, Here's Mammoth MK II from Red Alert. It has two railguns, 4 rocket launchers, heaps of armor, waaaaaay too many thrusters, (since it needs to look good) and everything else you can have in small vessel. The "Wespe" or Wasp is a small fighter for object defending, scouting and air support. Nonsense, no such thing as 'Too many Thrusters', ALL good Ships have more Thrusters then one would think is needed so ya can afford a couple Thruster casualties in Combat & not lose that life protecting Mobility that can mean the diff between victory & death. That's a pretty Ship. Wish I had thought of that Nose Design, which even Pre-5.4 could still be accomplished with a Ramp Top & Bottom Block.

I know this game is in pre-alpha so there's not that many Easter eggs yet in the game. So here's a DIY (Do It Yourself) kit for making one! We all know that Columbus discovered America's but later on they found viking ships on the east coast of North America. So build this viking ship and ram it to your object of choice to prove that vikings were there first! Personally I like Omicron's and Akua's moons most. I put the fuel tanks in neat row in middle of the ship so you can spread it on one single explosion, if you manage to make it, also since vikings appreciated metals and weapons I put some laser pistols and ingots in the loot crates. While I ago I decided to make Carrier of sorts so I thought, what's the smallest pure combat ship you can do, so that every vital part is under armor and combat profile is as small as possible. Here's results, you could prolly still make it narrower but I like the current looks so I decided to test it and use this thing in survival. It can stand up to any drone I've found so far, o'course ion cannons might still screw you up, but this thing turns on a dime so if you get hit it's very lousy luck! I'm striving to make even smaller ships with even less resources, I think this comes pretty close to smallest possible! I made tiny attack scooter which can travel inside buildings, all you need is a gap, that automated door leaves behind when it explodes. So here's your rocket-launcher armed and front armored Mini-Raid. I used this to do complete cleanup inside all enemy bases in both Omicron and Akua, seems to work fine at least on starter planets. Terran Viking, I made one to scale with my Starcraft Ships. The colors are kind of messed up because I can't colour all the blocks. The new blocks can't be colored right now so I left most portions of it grey.
I've progressed to last planets currently available and had a need for something tad bit more "advanced" than my mini-bomber. Since hitting fast moving stuff with rockets is a pain in the arse Here's even smaller Mini-A or Mini-Advanced, with under 50 blocks used, everything armored, even smaller combat profile, gunslot on the centerline and same good maneuverability. Also small enough to fit in the launch tubes of the bomber carrier! Tried all three different advanced weapons and personally I prefer railgun over two others, fast projectiles make hitting small targets even easier and good range means you can snipe stuff down before anyone or anything notices you. Know what ya mean, my Tyrax Starter SV has gotten too outta date too... Space Drone (Laser) has proven that. Thankfully i'm processing Resources & gotten my Power Coils! I'm gonna make it a priority to make a new better SV definitely with Rail Guns! Also test drove SV Pulse Lasers in Creative & am torn on if I wanna use them too... they seem to have potential as Dogfighting Weapons vs the likes of Space Drones while I can still Rail Gun Planetary Drones & Base Defenses both... yet at the same time it's tempting to have one Weapon Type only then only need to carry one Ammo Type only... I have pondering to do... but just in case i'm building both.
