    Has anyone ever had any problems with their game crashing at Object 82?

    I've had like 3-4 people report that it causes their save game to error but I haven't been able to reproduce it and no one has posted any logs to Dropbox, Google Drive, or here so I of course don't know what to fix on it. There's a couple of random things I will try but without the logs I don't know why some people are having problems.

    Is it in a faction territory? You won't find UCH in most other faction areas.

    Yes, it is the last System before I am (intending to) leaving Zirax dominated Space.
    Eventually it may be useful to remove the "chance" for UCH-Explorer Vessels from Faction Space? To keep further inquiries at a minimum.

    My game also crashes when I warp to Object 82. I've attached a log file. Basically, I get a bunch of NullReferenceException's when the playfield tries to load..

    I am also having Object 82 problems, hopefully more logs will help identify the issue.

    I was afraid of that, nothing obvious in the logs. Nothing helpful at least. Hopefully the changes I'm making will fix it but testing will be needed in a new save game once I have updated the scenario.

    Awwww....I just got my CPU III CV. All good. Though personally I haven't even gone into Object 82 space. Been messing around in the galaxy blowing up CVs and BAs. So much fun!

    Erm, what happened to Sienna? I started on the Dark Rogue planet and made my way into space. I visited the ship and have a mission to head to Sienna. Checking on the Galaxy map earlier, it was there fairly close - I just opened the Map and it was visible. After much time and looting - building up the reserves on my CV - I finally decided to make the jump. I went to the Galaxy Map and... nothing, Sienna not visible. I look around, zoom out etc. still not visible. I use the search function - nothing, not even a "not found" message. What's going on? I've lost an entire solar system lol.

    Edit: Doh, I need the Delta system Sienna planet - could have sworn I saw Sienna listed as a system previously, showing up in the Galaxy Map... I guess not lol.

    @ravien_ff - I'll just drop one little note...was active around here 'long time ago'... now I started playing Empyrion & Eden after a year or so (on the same crappy system i have back then), and of course from 'Dead Planet' - turns out I did pick really hard seed (my usual number)... anyway, it is so hard (on 'medium' level :rolleyes:) that I'm digging hundreds of meters in tunnels with basic tool to reach couple of ore nods near Zirax Makeshift thing! Did not dig a real tunnel in Empyrion for prob. 2+ years, it was just like in 'old days' :D

    Sounds rather like one of the Rogue Starters but a Dead Planet - which actual lacks any sort of Resource to be digged out OR Zirax;)

    Update for Empyrion Alpha 12.2
    A new save game is required to get the updated content. Old saves should continue to work.


    - Updated scenario for new Alpha 12.2 content:
    Added new drones to most Trader, Polaris, and Kriel freighters and orbital patrol vessels.
    Drones outside of a faction owned area of space might not appear. Potentially a bug.
    All the new PDA, story, POIs, and the Zirax and Kriel home worlds should be in.


    - Tweaked the Rogue and Dark Rogue starting missions slightly. Added a new secret to the Crashed Prison Transport. The Slayer has entered the facility.
    - Mission Make Contact with Terran Forces can now be manually completed since it had trouble on dedicated servers.
    - Temperate2 starting wreckage now uses an admin core and cannot be taken over because on servers people could take it over and lock new players inside. Added a nearby wreck that you can still claim on single player.

    - Added new ASC Pirate POIs to the Pirate home system planets (Thanks to Spanj and Johnny Jay Appleseed)

    - Reduced max POIs on Jungle planets (EdenJungle).
    - Added comments to the pvpprob line on all playfields to make it easy for servers to change them if needed.
    - Removed Kriel and Trader ships and POIs from starting solar systems.
    - Fixed Polaris teleporter on Ocean starter (changed to a default trade station).

    - Various tweaks and fixes to solar system configs and such.

    - Changed the Object 82 (and associated) playfields to try to solve a CoQ error that some people experienced. Thanks to everyone who sent in logs!
    I removed the skybox info and moved the asteroid rings so they are no longer occupying the same space. Please, if you have had trouble with Object 82 in the past, test this new one out and let me know if it still gives you errors.
    To test, you can simply type the following console command to teleport there (type exactly as shown):
    sector 'Object 82'
    I have no idea what the problem was, and so this is just a guess if it will fix it or not.


    Important for servers and modders:
    There is a new guide for configuring the scenario located at this link.
    This guide will walk you through how to get a local copy of the scenario, how to set the PvP chance for planets, and how to convert ore deposits from SSOR nugget to Voxel.
    This update changed nearly every playfield file, so if you had already made previous edits and want only the changes, you could focus on the playfields listed above. I do recommend updating all the space playfields however.

    I like the new drones, especially the polaris type. Have to mention that, it's very familiar from the game F.E.A.R.: https://fear.fandom.com/wiki/Unmanned_Aerial_Vehicle
    This "spiky" look is threatening, I think this model would fit more to the Zirax or the Kriel.

    I restarted on Rogue (yup, it was rogue, not dead :)) with same seed I usually use - and got big bug right from a start!
    Zirax troopers that are spawning under the Transport ship could shoot me easily through floor at Medical room... didn't had that previously.

    I experienced this too in a previous save, but, in fact, those ziraxes spawn inside the blocks, thats why they can shoot you — they meant to spawn in the crashed transport anyway, so they are not the "outside" ziraxes. You can shoot them back only in godmode, so outside of that nobody can do anything about this. Eleon should fix the enemy spawning I guess.

    I'm having lots of fun on a very large 'Dark/Black desert' planet. I even spawned in a large base as it felt like home.

    That void shrine is very interesting when you open the main door. Thank god my CV was in turret range. Shat myself.
