With the boat, I decided to switch to mostly plastic... At the moment - 41415 CPU from blocks alone... Here's the hull, so You can design Your own decks...
Today I am eliminating the Zirax scourge from my starter planet. Did you know that plasma turrets can't fire straight up? Makes taking down bases armed with only plasma really easy.
My currently in construction being Base isn't that large that the way to the fridge would be too far. WIP Snow Base
So today and tomorrow i want to take part in this thread as well I was preparing for a battle we gonna have tomorrow. We want to attack an enemys complex at a Moon. As they are going to defend it we decided to take 12 Attack CVs, 3 Transportation CVs, 10 mobile defending CVs, 22 defending HVs, 4 Attack SVs and 11 Attack HVs with us. At this moment we are just missing some of the attacking CVs and some of the defending HVs. I will post pics tomorrow Here are some Pictures of our last attack. That was not so succesful. We did a lot of damage but after 3 hours we were stucked at one point. So after a total of 6 hours we had to make a "tactical movement backwards" to our own Moon. PS: 6 hours i toooo long. So we agreed on a cease fire for a couple of minutes at some point in the middle of the battle. Anyway we don't want to fight for that long anymore so tomorrow we will stop as soon as the fun drops too low. But don't get me wrong, that battle was awesome.
It's been raining here IRL, so I decided to build yet another CV . I present the Avalon ... a 108 grow plot space based garden ... the only landing gear is on the nose so you can butt it up to your primary CV, disengage the shield/turrets/thrusters, and tow it to your next destination. 4500 minutes of run-time in StandBy (thrusters disengaged, turrets on Defend, and all grow lights ON). https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2174765623 Now it's time for my nap ... LOL.
Today was labeled as The Quest for Zascosium by the crew. It wasn't easy and the lava planet majorly kicked our burnt asses. As I was mining some Erestrum, I looked behind and found that beauty. I even took a picture. It kept calling me to visit its atmosphere and I had to succumb to its charm. I hope it's not a trap.
Never gets old: I accidentally dug to deep and trapped myself but then looked up and found I did not really care: Does anyone else hear: whenever they find a T2 multitool or a T2 shotgun in an alien container:
Another day, another hull... Unfortunately it is too big for useful gravity generator placement, so like many of my recent designs - will end up parked indefinitely until they rework gravity generators to have their coverage fully adjustable. (The other big one on the ground is languishing with the same fate). I have to wonder what the purpose of the XL thruster is when as soon as you build something big enough to need them, you cant have gravity everywhere in them, or you end up with overlaps, or the game want you to place the generator in the middle of the hangar - ugh!
Started working on a larger version of the Valkyrie that has a more spacious and ventilated cabin. Still tweaking the exterior, and the interior is pretty much gutted at the moment,... The additional space does allow for a warp drive and (eventually) some other nice-to-have features. Also added two additional Gatling guns (staggered a bit).
Started a Ocean Reforged Eden Play Through. So far i managed to set up a temporary Camp(2 Portable Constuctors and a Survival Tent) next to a Submerged Tank. While their is two Iron Deposits nearby, and lots of Fruit and Fiber Plants, even some Protein and medical plants. I doubt i will stay long because it is actually in Zirax Territory.
Depends on how far the fridge is, and how bad I need something. If I'm a cheeseburger from full, I'll walk. If I'm about to drop dead of starvation, I'll logistics it.
With the apparently random numbering of things in this, then often I have no idea what the physical location of a store/fridge was so end up using wireless anyway.
This morning before work, I did a little reno on my Nightjar CV. As I was cleaning up the device tree, I realized that there was no ventilator. Now I know for a fact that when I originally built the Nightjar in 10.5 that it definitely had O2. I had used the CV in survival after all. So my best guess is that during one of my renos to bring the CV compliant with CPU and other changes since then that I must have accidentally removed the ventilator when using the symmetry tool or some such. Then because I remembered using the CV in survival, just assumed that the O2 was still good. I even remember where the airflow went from section to section of the vessel. Which I realized that the airflow also needed to be fixed because the flow that once was had been cutoff in one of the renovations as well. Embarrassing. While I was fixing these mistakes, went ahead and moved a couple thrusters for lift which opened up where they had been as spots for inserting a couple medium thrusters for a tier 2 upgrade, which would allow one to also upgrade the cargo space back to what the CV had originally--I had downgraded the cargo with alpha 11 to get within tier 1 CPU limits and still achieve my target of flight with mass enabled in 2.0 gravity.
Can someone explain to me exactly what I see? I observe this mysterious halo with blackness in the middle in every star system that is jumped into.
