Has anyone seen this yet? Apparently it's in early access. It looks like it will be very similar to Moo2.
I just have Metalica sounds goin through my head now I read this ! Masters of Puppets, Orion ! Its like a flashback !
I've seen it but the youtubers i prefer gave it a bad review eg. it lacks tactical combat and sophisticated ship customization like in other games. So for a 45.99 game it offers not that much (even less than Moo2) - and full price for an early access... well - no thanks anyway. Everytime I think Steams EA policy (which seams non existing) has reached the bottom line they proof me wrong and it goes even deeper. It still seems that Star Drive 2 (tactical Combat) and Distant Worlds Universe (Vastness) are the better successors of Moo - despite the flaws.
It looks magnificent, but I've heard a few thing I'm disappointed about...: I'll start with the good: - Famous voice actors, including Mark Hamill - It's MoO! And stuff I've been surprised/taken aback by: - It's in Early Access, yet is still nearly the price of a Retail, AAA game. If it were finished, I would consider throwing down that kinda cash. But for now? Nah. My "limit" is usually $20 for Early Access games. - 500 turn "hard" limit. No way to go beyond that. If I'm playing a strategy game I like, I'm not gonna want to stop at 500 turns... I should note that this is only based on what I've heard, and may not be 100% accurate.
Yeah there are a few things that bother me. One of them is the price. The hard turn limit is a deal breaker for me.
Yeahhhhh... nearly full AAA price for an incomplete game? I don't care how great it looks, I'm only gonna pay full price for a full game... :\
