Don't you worry more will come, u'll figure it out. Still need to finish the interior and maybe ad a little more to the exterior but we'll see. main thing is that she flys and manuvers great in space (not made for planet landing) here she is, with and without the docked vertical ship:
In addition to my new CV I had to build my first dedicated fighter, and i noticed.... I just can't build a normal ship! counts 236 blocks weights 4,92t WxDxH: 11 x 14 x 5 pretty agile fitted with two pulse lasers (gotta test them in survival to se if they should be swapped with something else) and 2 rocket launchers. I present to you, my venomfighter: and didn't even think about it when i build it, but perfect fit for the outside docking platform
*looks at all those naked unprotected Cargo Boxes & wonders if this Ship's Creator is trying to attract every Space Pirate in the Galaxy to Plunder him mercilessly like Colonies of Ants scrambling to raid a huge naked unguarded pile of Honey...* I'm putting both SV Pulse Lasers & Rail Guns on my current 2nd Survival Mode SV, I figure the Pulse Lasers will handle dogfighting with stuff like Space Drones & the Rail Guns will handle everything else.
The Furian collectives Warbird the "Spearhead" where completed just hours ago. fitted with weapons of destruction and whatever the Furian Clan needs to implement their invasive nature on the galaxy. on the outside it's a small capital ship It's a pretty agile warbird. intel leaked (not all areas are covered in the photos:
haha, lol, Spearhead aint that big. my other CV "lizzardhead" is only a completed hull, need the interior and it's 3x the size of spearhead. spearhead might even fit in the back baygate :O
Ahh in that case the Pic fooled me & made it look a lot bigger then it actually was. Though... this does give me hilarious mental imagery of mini Dogfighting CVs docking into ginormous Hanger Bays of Ginormous CVs...
@Tyrax Lightning here is the view from inside the cockpit. unless i'm shooting, i generally fly in 3rd person.
Ahh, then I guess it's not a big problem then. Though this reminds me, it can sometimes feel like a shame we can't Alt look around & lock that Alt Look Direction in a direction while continuing to move around until we undo it, especially when riding around in my fav SV Cockpit... that one with the Window that also extends partway along its Floor. I never really get to use all of that Floor Window cause I have to Alt Look down to see through all of it but I can't lock my View into that Position to put that Floor Window completely to use... imagine if one could do this, then this Cockpit would be epic for being able to see below ya more easily for maneuvers like landing in a more specific spot then ya can with any other Cockpit. & to think I use to bias against this Cockpit when I first joined the game cause it seemed ludicrous how much work it'd be to Build around this extra Windowing... but I dared to give it a try once & test drove the resulting SV, & at first I was like 'Meh'... then I tried Landing in it, & the Floor Windowing makes this SO much easier I fell in love with this Cockpit right there on the spot. Also later on became fond of being able to use the Floor Windowing to be able to more easily see POIs in a position below & in front of me. Considering these Cockpits were all designed while we can't Lock our Viewpoint into a Alt Button cause direction, one can't help but to wonder what the point even is for any Cockpit Window View that ya can't see through in the Cockpit in the default frontal view... feels a little Negated Moment of Awesomeish...
Had to scrap this one, the angels wouldn't line up - reason: to use the planes and make them do half the build it was build in an uneven number of blocks. even though this shortens the build time, it's got some limitations, especially on the angels. so startet from scratch again, this time an even number of blocks is used (W and H) so no more using plnes to do half the building ( dervs pleace make it so you can chose not to please the planes in the middle of a block but on the side instead, make that option) so here use your imagination and tell me,might this gonna look good?
