Have you tried to go back to the Captain of the UCH Vessel and get the quest again?

 

Not yet, no. We did return to the UCH area before logging but probably won't play again till the weekend between work and packing to move later this month

 

Yeah speak to the captain again and you can resume the mission.
There's something I can do to make this smoother but I don't think I'll get it in today's update.

 

It does work; I just got back from logging into the save in SP and was able to recover the mission and the progress

 

I really enjoy Eden Project, but not so much lately with the bugs that are accumulating. With alien planet start, SP not sure if these are EGS-related:

A lot of cabinets/lockers are opening up empty or with just a couple of bullets, more than 50% empty. If it's random, why is empty coming up so much? I went thru the top bit of the abandoned mine and got three shotgun shells and a ration pack out of the eight or so that usually contain armour etc. Noticed the same on a lot of other abandoned POIs and wrecked capital ships on an earlier playthrough. Could it be that an item is not showing?

Base attack consists of single rocket drone which does not approach closer than 400m, or nothing shows up at all.

Enemy troop transport attack does not happen, or approaches then turns away, or is just sitting there.

The entire contents of my SV fridge just disappeared on a trip to the moon.

In all likelihood these are all EGS bugs, but maybe the loot lockers one is Project Eden?

Yes none of that is controlled by the scenario.

 

UCH researchers detected a weak, repeating signal of unknown origin coming from within the Andromeda Galaxy. After months of processing the data UCH Command has authorized release of this image.
Further data processing is ongoing.

 

That's clearly a picture of the Loch Ness monster either playing with a giant beach ball or is making bubbles with a big bubble wand.
No other possibilities. My mind is made up.

Whatever it is we will be patiently waiting for it in game.

 

First up while this question is from an RE game I know the poi’s etc are ravien_ff department , a buddy and I found a legacy tagged “old mine” on an arid Mesa planet which was huge and awesome, but empty is this intentional ?
Is a to be done thing , cause I think being chased through those train tracks and very narrow paths down the pits would be some crazy gameplay.
PE and RE have reinvented this game for many of us , thanks very much

Yeah that one is a work in progress. I need to go back and add some diamonds and enemies to it.

 

Thanks for the reply, the work on the tracks, turntable and pulley system is brilliant and definitely deserve some love but I guess, only so many hours in a day !!!

That POI was made by someone else so they deserve all the credit for it!

 

Something rather strange happened. I came across a very nice station, i guess its a PE one. At least i haven´t seen it before. Only i get shot by the Cyborgs in it even though i am honored by the Polaris faction. I was inside the station in front of one of the traders for at least 20 seconds and none of them shot me, it seems selling the first item triggered the attack. I cannot really confirm this anymore though as EGS is messing up saves (ELEON, PLEASE FIX).

You mean the station is base game content? If so i hope i come across another one to test this behaviour.

 

Ravien what the hell did you do to the Abandoned reactor? Bloody hell and when I did get in the reactor room I stupidly threw the switch

Is there a known issue with backups?

Some days ago, I started a new survival game with Reforged Eden at planet Haven. I took it easy and after I rebuilt the broken Hoover craft and a very basic base, mined some ores and harvested some wood for fuel, I started the personel quest. During the progress I made several backups and also copies at the restart of the game.
Only after those Drones at the Teleport station killed me, I found out, that all my backups were corrupted? Whichever I started put me, my base and hoover craft about 50m below ground. The planet had holes and a lot of giant blocks everywhere. There is no way to continue this..

Ever heard of something like this? And what can be done to resolve it or at least avoid it, so it doesn't happen again with a new start?
