Build: 1.0 (current) Mode: Any SERVER NAME: Any SEED-ID: Any Certain blocks, especially base Railings, become useless if recovered when broken off by a Structural Integrity fault. You will recover a "Railing" block, in the shape the Railing had when it broke, but it cannot be placed or recycled via the Deconstructor. It becomes a useless block. Likewise, structural blocks themselves often become "stuck" in whatever shape they last had, but can often be placed in that shape then Retrieved with a Multitool to become a normal, functional block again. This may hold true for other objects as well, I just haven't tested it yet. To reproduce: Build a structure out to the limits of Structural Integrity, then violate SI with a Railing or Block and recover the Railing and/or blocks that break off. Attempt to place the railing again. The same holds true for structural blocks - recovered blocks will form stacks separate from regular "normal" blocks, and they loose the ability to subset select (change their shapes). These, however, can usually be placed again and recovered as "normal" blocks with the Multitool.
Seems to be the same bug as this one: https://empyriononline.com/threads/fallen-wooden-blocks-are-not-the-same-you-build-with.95398/ The block types generated as debris when SI kicks in, seems to be of an older type than the ones you build in A12/V1.0. They also have an older shape selection window.
It does indeed, or at least directly related. I noted this happening with Rails, which then have NO selection option, cannot be placed or deconstructed. Never had issues deconstructing blocks, or placing and retrieving them back into normally functioning blocks.
Did you find other devices or blocks that have the same issue? If so > please open a new ticket and refer to this one, thx!
