Hello guys! I have launched a dedicated server for EGS with Reforged Eden, it combines Reforged Galaxy and New Eden into a great scenario. The server is currently hosted on actual enterprise hardware I own and is very stable so far. I would like to invite the community to join the server and enjoy your adventures with me! The server is named Reforged Eden |PvPvE| and as the title suggests it is a mix of PVE and PVP playfields. To direct connect, the server is @ dreadarm.net:30000 Currently the server is hosted for NA players, of course everyone is welcome to check it out. As the community grows, and demand for an EU server comes about, I will look into launching another dedicated server for EU players. I know there are a few other extremely popular servers out there, so what makes this one different? well I can't offer you all the fancy-smanshy stuff right now, but I can tell you I am extremely dedicated to hosting this game and will do everything I can to run a great server and hopefully help establish an in game community around a good sense of values. As our community grows and we can find capable people, I would like to look into the fancy stuff like custom mission, story lines, plots etc, but for now that is out of my capabilities. A few things I personally can't stand are Griefing, Cheating and Exploiting. I will do my utmost to combat these things and provide the best environment I can for you to play in. I have been wanting to check out reforged eden but honestly...didn't want to put in the work of getting it spun up for fear that game changes might render it unplayable. this is going to sound very selfish and probably not very cool, but... now that someone else has put in the effort i'll check this out! (honestly not even sure if there were any other servers out there already hosting reforged eden but i don't look at the server list, i usually play on my friends-only vanilla nitrado server) thanks for doing it. i'll try to log in this weekend. see you in space dude.
It's very unlikely that any game changes would render it unplayable. At worst it would just cause some CoQ errors if you spawn a blueprint or have an item on you that is taken out but Vermillion goes to great lengths to maintain save game compatibility. However, like any custom content, there is always a risk when you use any custom content, so just keep that in mind. Save games can become corrupted and the developers will not offer any support for it. But that's a small price to pay for custom content. So far I have not heard of anyone losing a save game due to the scenario itself.
