I'm new to EAH. A friend of mine got a server through GTXGaming.uk. I have read through your documentation for dedicated servers - - I'm trying to set up EAH to work on the GTXGaming server. Everytime I put in the server information (they have their directory set up as the ip/port), it errors and says it can't find the dedicated.yaml file in that main directory. Can someone help me out with this.
Not sure if this is the best place to look for help but I'm trying to set up a dedicated server. ... And then I did some more reading in the config file and realized it has this enabled by default... Code: EACActive: true Because this is a server I'm only creating for trusted friends, I don't see the need for such overhead/requirements... So I disabled it and now it's working fine.

Is there a way to have EAH change the CPU task priority of EmpyrionPlayfieldServer.exe when it starts a new instance?
Ok i do have a question i am running this on my dedicated server but had to redo pc so now that i got it up and running again i ahave EAH working once again and i get this message now when i try to edit a players invetory , which i never got before so anyone know what setting to make or change ? message i get is this ---- Do you really want to change players invetory ? if player online they will be kicked I never got that before i could edit invetory while they were online and now i can not , please help thanks
im using host havoc and i was told only EAH lite would work , but it does work so is it possible to make the full version work if lite is working ?
Ok, have EAH Full installed. Server is connected and fully operational, no problems there. Here is my issue, I cannot edit player information at all. When I click on a player, select to edit inventory, it asks me if that is what I want to do, I click ok, that window closes, then ...... nothing .... I would like to be able to edit player inventories through EAH, but it seems it can't ... or can it and there is some buried deep setting I am missing that enables this? HALP plz ....
Question: How to set up the "Reset" function? Details: is it possible to reset entire systems? if not is the only way to reset "POIs","Playfields" only by adding them to the function? The Idea is, that only the start systems are reseted at a specific time. And only space/orbit playfields, not planetary playfields. The Idea for the server is, that if players travel through space, that they still have the chance to refuel or repair their ships and do not get stranded, but planets who were conquered by players, for example - the zirax got exterminated on the planet.

Hello, Firstly awesome game and fantastic piece of software to help with server administration. im fairly new to server hosting but we are becoming quite popular quite quickly and im struggling to keep up. Is there a server update to latest patch feature that im too blind to find? if not is there a safe way that i may update the server as i am too scared to try without some info first as i wouldn't want to delete the server by accident. All, Thank you in advance for taking time to read this. The challenge: I run two server instances simultaneously (Survival and Creative) on the same hardware. I want to be able to use the SteamCMD update functions so that I can automatically update the game files. I also want the two instances of EAH to work and connect to the API, but I can only see a way to have one instance of the EPM config under <root>\Content\Mods\EPM I had this working when I separated the "Root" game folders, but then the updates from SteamCMD only applied to the original folder that was installed by SteamCMD I am running a dedicated server on my own hardware under Windows 10. Empyrion is installed via SteamCMD. Initially I was using EAH via the bundled files. Now I have downloaded the Full version directly. I have set up two folders C:\Games\EmpAdminHelper - Creative C:\Games\EmpAdminHelper - Survival I do not know if it makes sense to even try to fix this through an EAH change, since the game exe actually loads the Mods. I realize this may not be an "issue" with EAH, but I see it as a question about "how" to use the tool or a request for some guidance on best practices for setting up a multi instance server like this. Did I miss a feature that will handle the game updates without SteamCMD? Am I completely missing something else? If I have to, I can go back to the separate folders and start working on a script to handle the application updates when they come from SteamCMD.
