Heya, As my poor modelers skills are frustrated with the current lack of block information and/or tools as a 3d-vision disabled person like me is capable of, I decided to move forward and create a new monthly challenge. THE FIRST EGS === CHINDOGU=== CONTEST. Every month, every community member is allowed to post a really useful but unusable build from their own. By day 5 of the next month the winner will be awarded an unusable reward and be granted the right to yell at Eleon for something they are really not doing well (by the way demonstrating they are for sure useful but too often unusable). Rule 1) It has to be home made and a genuine invention. Rule 2) It must be both useful but unusable. Role playing very welcome. Otherwise disqualified. If you don't know what unuseful means, think of me. Please add a description of the unmet goal. Rule 3) It must be must be 100% power/cpu compliant. Rule 4) All submitted builds will be thoroughly tested until proven unusable. Rule 5) I want this contest to be as professional as it may be. Please apply for the jury (4 members including me, so 3 open positions... please PM me). So for the first month which will be September 2020, I suggest (I do not compete) my brand new Mosquito Grill from [Jah Vaporous Designs]. Just as a source of inspiration. Most of you guys will have to work hard to become mediocre. But that's what this competition is about. Helps killing every flying annoyance in Arid/Swamp environments. While not being 100% effective, alternative pest control devices are 150 LY away so this is the best thing I can propose at the moment. Plus FedEx charges too much. Tall base so it can be adjusted to many grounds. Separate solar panels for a better look and core made really safe by being burried underground. Cheers ! All UCH scientific first exploration teams were equipped with the highly sensitive device. The installation of the device and the calibration required special training for the task force. The first critical reports of the field tests were probably destroyed. Dr J Gravis from the 4th scientific advance command of the 2nd Andromeda Expedition summed it up in her opening report of the research station. "The large resonator is extremely complicated to set up and configure. But it receives absolutely nothing and it is not even able to let a fart, let alone send any signals. But it looks damn good in front of our station. Since that day resourceful business people have been trying to buy up the remaining devices and offer them to large companies to design their company headquarters. So if you find an abandoned specimen somewhere on an abandoned planet, take it with you. In a hundred years it could be worth a fortune in the interstellar art market. The engineers responsible for this disaster are lost in a time rift during a warp jump.

It's not design software, it's just Empyrion. You get a sack of building blocks and turn and stack them until it somehow looks like something interesting.

Coming late but hopefully still on time I actually have a few builds that qualify for this contest but will leave only this one, I call it Legacy Mainframe and was a test I did hoping to integrate it into a POI, unfortunately it does not work when spawned by the game as a POI but still works if spawned by a player in a Creative or SP game It's an AI machine that is processing it's routine and if the player enters the room it will acknowledge and stop and then when the player leaves it will resume, you can test it
