How to remove the map label for deconstructed POIs?

    So I completely salvage everything on a POI (say a Defense Base), or mine the last bit of an asteroid. Yet the POI marker remains on the map.

    That is... annoying. Any method of removing these?

    Seems like no one knows how to edit the map markers as far as I can tell. I asked a similar question a while back and got nowhere. I find it odd that there is no way to edit the map files or unilling to give us this information. or at least a tool to adjust it

    Thanks for the reply. I was beginning to think that was the case.

    They should automatically clear when the last block is gone. That happens with Player Created items, which means that they are significantly different than Dev created ones as it seems that the markers are added as a different object. Likely so they can switch from unknown to an identified state.

    Still, this is something the system should automatically handle.

    It's been this way for a very long time (many versions). It is no longer acceptable that "it's a known issue." It does not seem to be that hard of a problem to fix.

    yeah, please fix it or give us a method of editing the programmatic error.
