Is there some place that we can see what files get touched (changed) with each update. It gets old having to look through the config files each time they do an update.
No, since we dont support customiseing the game. Some changes are noted in the update notes tho. You just have to go through the files whole time or simple use the Config.ecf as it only needs changes you make and not the full file
I use 'beyond compare 4' for this with a saved session that I just have to open to start the diff merge process. Once open, then I just need to very quickly inspect each diff and tell it to move/ignore as appropriate to re-incorporate my changes in the update from Eleon. Once happy, then these change replace my master copy. I also have local git repos as well so I have a history in case i screw something up. It takes me just a few minutes to do the merge.
Yes, I also use this and have for years but really it would take them an extra 2 mins to post what config files changes.
