So I am trying to set up my motion sensors so that one end of my landing pod is outbound and the other inbound.

Would anybody know if it is possible to make it so each door is one way only? I could retract the sensor range so that it doesn't cross over to the other side of the door, but if I do that it'll start to close as soon as you clear it and might not leave enough time to get out of the way.

Is there a way to use a delay function in combination with the motion sensors?

Yes, you can add a delay single and have that trigger the door and have the motion trigger the timer.

Probably the only way to do this. :)

I have actually used a circuit and sensors to control a door as a one-way, but the sensors are only 90% reliable and timers are even flakier, so gave up. I have downloaded designs from workshop that did not work 100% of the time and very rarely gotten sensors to trigger reliably when used together. Sorry, but they do work, but just not as reliably as my perfectionist head would like, so don't be disappointing if you don't get it perfect on the first try.
