Hi, I've got 250 hours into Empyrion. Quite a few times now I've destroyed the core in an enemy POI and replaced it with my core and had a new base (around 20 times). Imagine my surprise when I took over a Listening Post, put in my core, the power came back on and ...it's not owned by me. It's owned by the enemy still. This is single player survival. I quit the game and came back, no change.

All the guns I placed were active but they didn't shoot me or my ship, thankfully. I couldn't use the doors.

I guess I could go back and destroy my own core? Is this a bug or is there something I don't understand (the most likely answer). Thanks in response for any solutions to this problem.

thanks so much for the reply!
I mean I kill the enemy, blow their core, run all over the now dead base putting up guns, put ammo in the box, put fuel in, and then proudly slap in my core and the lights come on! And it says base is owned by all the people I just killed. Zirox or Xerox, I can never remember names of fake alien races. lol Oh well such is life. Maybe the base regenerated for the enemy? I read about that, went right over my head.

Regeneration of PoIs is disabled in Singleplayer by default. If it were enabled, you'd not have been able to place a core.

Kassonade's reply above is the most likely culprit (Bug, or Hacked). In the latter case, clearing the area around the base would be wise, also including other PoIs in firing range.

    And it's Zirax.

Thank you. There is another base within firing range. Makes sense. Too bad I'm not smart enough to hack.
