Hello, So my friends and I were playing the other day on my coop server which I can start and it automatically joins me to and all my friends can join. However when I try to join my friends servers I can’t see them anywhere in the server list joining through steam and direct connect also do not work. I also found that if I quit the game but leave my server up the one I join automatically upon starting it. Then when I try to get back in by looking at the server screen it’s nowhere to be found. I have looked all over the internet but unfortunately this seems to be a common problem with multiple solutions and circumstances. Can anyone give me a hand?? I have also tried it with windows antivirus turned off.
If your research on a "common problem with multiple solutions and circumstances" that you looked all over the internet for did not provide a solution, maybe it's because you don't really know what you are looking for, right ? You need to provide lots more details to get help. And first try the usual - restart computer, clear internet cache and temporary folders, restart steam, check files integrity, make sure everyone is on the same version of game / server, check your firewall, have your friends do the same, etc. Try to log in multiplayer with another game that you know is working, then try again with Empyrion, do it both ways (you log in friend server, he logs in your server), and if that does not work then check log files and/ or file in a bug report in the bugs section.
