Nothing quite says thank you for saving the Polaris (I TOLD YOU THEYRE JERKS!) .. the Polaris station, where you fly to the pirates, pay to get their stupid not-A&W rootbeer recipe back... then their reps are bossy, then you defend their base from what would be a serious landing party... I mean super robots and everything... and then I get back planet side and find out those losers won't let me teleport to their teleporters. Are you kidding me? Anyway, I just thought while the story I guess is still in development, to think about some of the mission rewards and make it make more sense because this is just insulting. ------------------ This gives a me a chance to think about the myriad ways we can exchange with any faction. Pay a complement, trade one-on-one with an NPC... People have craigslist and ebay... why not give these guys something to trade too.
You can use the teleporters only if you are friendly with a faction. If you are friendly and it does not work > plz do a bug report. This is quite logic as I think, as you won't let any stranger (neutral) use your car or bike, right?
Well when I think about it with a twisted mind... even an enemy could use my car ! Not sure if he would make it to destination though...
Yeah but did you read my post? I talked all about how I ought to be considered Friendly because I saved their base and got back their profit margins.
Currently reputation system is a bit weird for me. My relationship with Talon dropped to 0 Neutral from MAX twice, only because I accidentally broke the plant at farm while protecting mentioned farm from legacy creatures... Also it is an easy task to build relationship with all factions just by killing pirates, kill everyone and mine ore from a couple of their asteroid bases and you are a hero for everyone, including Zirax.
