@muggen : Many players here have played their share of the game in earlier versions, so there are not much surprises anymore, apart from checking the new gadgets when we get them, and usually by skipping forward with console codes. And "creative" is just one part of "playing the building game" : we can make playfields and scenarios, and mod a great part of the game. The amount of customisation available grows exponentially with each new "possibility" added, to a point it's even hard to figure all what is possible to do. Just as an example, two days ago I was planning to add close to 20 small basic POIs in an empty orbit playfield to check all music tracks that we have (1 per POI). I play music since age 9 and I want to hear what we have and see if I could make something different, or at least have some way to decide what music is appropriate for what context (we need some samples to check out of the game!). Then I checked the forums yesterday and we got new toys... the "music" will have to wait.
Ive been just kinda browsing over latest test branch. I really like that they increased the amount of items you can buy and sell. Ive enjoyed role playing a business last few games. I enjoy selling weapons until I find gold and then building and selling small optronics so I can buy large. Im not sure what I think about all the lower prices on items on the latest beta though. I think there needs to be some expensive items. I would enjoy there to be more items added to the game so I have a larger tree to climb while growing a business I role play and some very expensive items to work toward. Maybe they can have a added benefit for a base or a ship. If not it will still be nice or why even grow a rich empire in this game? Just some of my opinion Thanks will always be bye far my favorite game and time sink

@Robot Shark : can you post some close-ups of this one ? It's really... "different" from the "fighter" or "shuttle" designs we see usually : It is the one I prefer in your picture. It looks kind of awkwardly "real" because it does not try to emulate the classical "nice 20th century jet fighter with useless wings in space". It really stands out of the lot. I almost feel like you don't like it so you put it in the far corner... while it's the most eye-catching one, in my view. .
Thats the Pelican, I was thinking of a HV dropship when I made it. It also has open spaces for upgrades. One warning, the vertical thrusters are massively overpowered (on purpose) I wanted to make sure that it could liftoff with the 4 companion HV's attached. Since SV's can have minigun turrets now, I added 6 of them. These are some old pics of the build showing the companion HV's.

Today I entered an asteroid field that had no POIs in it, curious i flew to its center, inside was a hidden Zirax fighter swarm of 15 interdictors and interceptors.... I got payback for the many unshielded ships those same fighter models have destroyed of mine in the past. Zirax scum!
What I did today was find out: They finally implemented limited generator capacity!! Congratulations, I've been waiting so long for this +1 to immersion.
I have been mostly busy updating, finishing up and uploading new and old blueprints but, I have also made some progress on my new carrier last night. It's almost complete, called the Claymore-class. A game rules compliant warship for a change.
Made a start on a new mid -> late game base to go with other recent vessels and have a small CV pad and a few SV/HV pads Hoping to squeeze a build of it into T2, but 60K CPU of concrete - ugh!. Upgradable to T4, lots of storage, constructors, 4 furnaces etc. Beginnings of inside downstairs. Middle floor still empty - will end up with medical, quarters etc
I was playing around in experimental some more today and just couldn't help laugh a little. Guess I got a easy sense of humor, never noticed before but just now noticed. I could use the toilet at Polaris Habitat but wasn't able to use it at Polaris Agri Station. Guess they only like there own Factions butts on there toilets...

Not just today, but over the last couple of weeks, I have been playing on a Reforged Eden server....my first full multiplayer experience with this game.....and I have had to change my build style a little bit to fit with the custom configs. Here are my SVs and a HV trike, a starter CV and a crazy ugly SV/HV carrier.

Yes I second this please change the sound or lower the high sound pitch to a lower pitch I often have to listen to that screech over and over while I am trading with Factions....
I like immersion, but I guess its not a pleasant sound on the ears, when I'm going there to trade for the 12th or 13th time for example and I am are ready having dark fantasies about grabbing the bug bye the throat and dragging him to a back room and making that annoying sound more of a gurgling sound lol there that sounds better
