Yes, I did. I stand corrected.
However, I still had to find the materials to make a generator and fuel tank. But never mind. The hover bike is not portable. As discussed, we can have that BP or one similar on hand to produce given the needed resources to do so.

I thought I had more to say on this but I don't. Much of the logic escapes me due to a different manner of gameplay. But please carry on. I'm done.

Brother, at this point I am not sure if you are serious or not, but I will assume you are.

It takes about 3 iron ore to make a survival constructor.
Wander around the crash area and zap rocks for stone, iron ore, silicon, and copper. Use the defense setting on your survival tool to chop down trees and gather the logs to turn into biofuel.
Put all this stuff in the constructor. It takes extremely little to make a generator and a fuel tank. Once done, just put them in the hoverbike, toss in some fuel, and boom. You are off.

The benefit of using the hoverbike over the little motorbike is that the hoverbike actually has cargo boxes on it. And, if you wish, you can build more and add on to it. You can continue to upgrade it as often and as long as you like.

What the rest of us are saying is that it is remarkably easy to have a blueprint in the workshop ready to spawn at any time. For example:

This little sucker takes no more than 90 ore of any kind. You can gather than in about 10 minutes just zapping surface rocks.

If you think even smaller than that for your first HV (a plain replacement to the bike without storage or other useful things), crushed up stone can make everything you need reasonably. 75 rock is 5 ore (iron, copper, or silicate) which is 10 ingots. For curiosity, I just threw together a hover bike that consisted of nothing but a seat, 2 repulsors, a fuel tank, and a generator. It flies fantastically, even when I intentionally flip it it was easy for to right it and self-corrects once you get it started.

That's producible with 7 batches of ingots, at 75 rocks a piece is 525 rocks. That's like... 3 big rocks and a tree or two for the carbon substrate and some fuel. Even if you are absolutely desperate for materials... this is still craftable as long as you can get 3 iron ore for the portable constructor. And if you can't find that, you're pretty much boned no matter what. :)

I have 2 major concerns with the motorcycle. 1st it's counter to the building aspect of the game and 2nd it not a dual sport bike so doesn't handle like one. I'm not sure if the devs were going for a MOSPEADA Cyclone feel or not but there are some similarities. In MOSPEADA though the Cyclone actually handled well off road.

I currently use the motorcycle under 2 different circumstances. On the moon to collect Pentaxid when my SV has an internal cockpit and I can't carry an HV or on starts where the planet has extremely hostile environmental conditions (i.e. ice planet). In some starts if you can't get indoors immediately after landing you end up in a death loop. I've crash landed into hail immediately before. I assume something similar can happen on an Arid start but so for I've always landed pretty close to water and submerging alleviates high temperature conditions that the portable heater/cooler does not.

I'm not entirely certain what the best solution would be. Maybe a specific block that makes the entire vessel so that it can be picked up? When you place it it gives you limited boundaries to build? Then you can have small HV bikes you pull into your inventory? I'm not sure if that's logistically feasible. I do appreciate that they added the small generator a while back. It made the hoverbike I wanted to do even more compact. I certainly use that when I can. To ferry myself to and from my CV/BA.
